I've decided to make a list of biomes for no apparant reason.
1.Kingdom
2.Island(sub-biome)
3.crater(just a giant hole in the ground,not too deep,not to shallow,something like 50 blocks wide)

i will move to that the kingdom and craters are generated structures. in crater instead of new weapons and tiers i propose that it's just a hole in the ground that has a simlear use as a ravine. the crater is 50 blocks wide and long,while the depth would be 20 blocks and the hole isn't just straight down but more like steps going nowhere.
kingdom is just a kingdom with stuff in it.
Now for the island,we could add some unique items to it.
picutre a island a fraction of the main land(say 1/4) New mobs: there could be but they should be passive....maybe a new aggresive one. say like birds(when killed,drops bird meat heals 3 hunger raw,5 cooked) boars:passive (when killed drops leather and boar meat:heals 4 hunger cooked,3 raw) if you head inland you would find say a miniboss. an island leopard:slightly fast,does 2.5 hearts of damage each hit and drops leapord skin(decoration) and 1/18 of ender dragon xp. hearts 30.
the island would be unique because only those mobs spawn there and a 5% chance of weather(rain)
well thats the end of my thinking capacity now. i'll let you give me ideas on how to make this better.

Kingdom:Theres 1 in every world. to find this,you must use a knights compass ;recipe:One compass in the middle,with diamonds all around it. the compass will bring you on an adventure to find the kingdom.Hardcore mode:limited use with knights compass only 6 minutes before you craft a new one.In the kingdom:Once you find it,you will go to the throne room. you will meet a king.He will ask you if you want loot or to leave. if you choose loot,you will have to defeat the king.when defeated, he will give you 1/15 of enderdragon xp with a diamond sword sharpness II. you will then be able to access a chest that has exactly 27 diamonds and 5 emaralds. hardcore mode will give you more.
Crater:Same thing as i said bfore,but inside,you may encounter a new mob. A humaniod skelaton or zombie. which is 1.5x stronger than regular skelatons or zombie.
Island:New mob:Pirate 15 hearts and deals 3 hearts of damage. 25% chance of a shipwreck appearing of the shore of the island full of pirates and once all defeated,you will get average loot inside the ship.

4 floors in the castle with a chest containing loot.
on the king floor,the chest will contain 9-14 diamonds

Island: There Could Be A Pirate captain miniboss. On One of the shiprecks a ladder will lead to a giant room in the ship. you must fight the captain to get the booty! Pirates are his minions
Captain:25 Hearts Deals 2.5 Hearts of damage.
And pirates could have a 5% Chance To Give You A New Effect Called "Scurvy" which makes you weaker and your hunger goes away 3 seconds faster.It Lasts for 10 seconds.
Expand on your thoughts more. Lots of people have suggested new biomes/dimensions. And if you have no apparent reason for posting, why post? Give this more detail please.
this is extremely vague, what do you mean kingdom biome? whats in this kingdom biome? what lives in that kingdom? Any ideas to expand on the moon which has been suggested like quadziggity and 43 times before.

metor gems can be used to make armor and weapons. this set of armor and weapons is at least 2.0x the damage/protection as diamond

1. The kingdom isn't really a biome. Just a large upgraded village with goodies in it.
2. I can see practical use for an island biome. Minecraft oceans need more to them and this would do it. But could you expand more on what it is, what you find there, new mobs, plants, are there villages, and stuff of that sort?
3. Craters seem to be more of a sub-biome, and it has been said before that no new weapon tiers will be added to minecraft. So if there is to be a mineral inside the crater, it would need to do something significant not related to better weapons or tools.

You know, we all want a new update with a new dimension and a new biome, but it's been so long since we've had either. I don't think alot of people even like jungles or the End
I like the kingdom idea with 5 in every world, but it is WAY too costly to build the knights compass, many worlds I play in, I only get around 8-9 diamonds, then I use 5 of them to craft a diamond pickaxe (for the nether portal) and a diamond sword (for protection against them creepy creepers) and I am left with 3-4 diamonds, so maybe this might be a better recipe;

And i love your idea for the multiple floors,but this isn't like a huge megeboss so like at least 3-4 floors. but really thanks
