You've heard of Zombie Pigmen, so now, I present my latest idea!
*note: I did not create this skin
The Zombie Cowman!
It has 8 hearts (16 health points) of health, and drop 0-2 Steak, 0-4 Leather, and 0-4 Arrows (with carrots, iron ingots, and bows being rare drops). Like a skeleton, it uses a bow and arrows to hurt you. It is a hostile mob, so it immediately starts attacking you (unlike a zombie pigman). They spawn in the Nether and The End. It deals 3 1/2 hearts (7 health points) of damage. Unlike a Zombie Pigman, it will take damage from fire and lava. When a cow is struck by lightning in the overworld, it will become a Zombie Cowman. Please Support!
Good idea but it will take a lot of attention like fseftr said above after implement. Then, few more players will want zombie chickenman, zombie wolfman and zombie catman.

Maybe there could be a zombie detention with all these zombie mobs.
Then people will want zombie sheepmen and zombie squidmen, and really is it not just a modified skeleton?
Is the Zombie Pigman not just a modified zombie?
Is the Wither Skeleton not just a modified skeleton?
Is the nether not just a modified overworld?
Is Minecraft not a sandbox game that is built into an infinite list of possibly amazing things because you modify one thing into another by adding or removing features in addition to digging and building structures?
You're missing my point... there is no reason to have zombie cowmen and not zombie catmen. Zombie pigmen are food in the nether and wither skeletons drop wither skulls

And zombie cowmen are another source for the already-rare leather, as well as for obtaining more arrows. I could always use more arrows.
EDIT: And before saying leather isn't that rare, when is the last time you used leather armor before you got iron?
Yes, but they are not unique in dropping leather and arrows. Also, is it really worth opening the floodgates to all types of zombie animalmen just to implement this?

Yes, I'm aware they aren't "unique" drops...Hence that I said "ANOTHER SOURCE". And I'd prefer more topics suggesting a NEW thing that people are always going to turn down - you know those topics will exist anyway...So why not get some fresh fodder for it? And can you give me a reason, other than "oh no more potentially bad suggestion fodder", that these SHOULDN'T be added? If you can give me one truly SOLID reason that these SHOULDN'T be in the game, I'll gladly drop this debate.
Wait, so you only want this so new bad suggestions will appear? Or do you have an actual reason?
Well, it does quite a bit of damage for a normal nighttime mob. But, that's not the point. There's no real reason for any balanced mob or ore to not be added, besides the fact it would not really be anything new. Do you not think Mojang should makes actually new things or improve existing things? This is why suggestions such as horses gained support, and suggestions such as pandas or bears don't get nearly as much. Horses would've had a new purpose, to be riden, now they don't but it was an example. While, pandas or bears, would not add much to the game.

My reason for being okay with the potential flood of new "animalmen" suggestions is it'd be a refreshing change from seeing the normal always-shot-down suggestions.
Zombie Cowmen would, I repeat, provide more leather and arrows. These are two resources I have heard complaints about ingame. "I can't find any cows for leather!" "I keep running out of arrows!" You have to play the hunting-almost-lost-my-house game to find cows, and the RNG game to get infinity to solve arrows. Other solutions include making a skeleton grinder out of a spawner, but that's, again, reliant on hunting one down and a bit of luck with the RNG.
I think Mojang could do well to do BOTH. Improve existing, as well as fix some existing, AND add some new things. I understand that plenty of people won't support this idea. I have my reasons for it.
As to horses not having a point, I take it you mean because pigs with saddles? That's no replacement for a real horse. That's a temporary placeholder. I'm still waiting for my lances and horses so I can go jousting. Even if it never gets added, I'll still be waiting. Pandas would provide a reason to add bamboo, which could be used to make a new type of fishing rod, an aesthetic water-dipper piece of room decor, a material to make spears out of in combo with flint, and an item to use to make a flute for more music playing/idling options, as well as a new door to blend in with leaves and other green blocks, not to mention bamboo curtains for your windows and a material that can be used to reinforce wooden tools or the handles of other tools to further their lifetimes.
Bears could be reason to add honey and beehives where honey is found, not to mention bears are said to be pretty smart and VERY powerful, so it'd be a new threat to the player, and try telling me we have enough threats. Bears could drop bear fur, which could be used to make Fur Armor when combined with leather, or even make Gloves, along with bear claws, which could be added to gloves to do bonus damage when using your fists in combat. Clawed Gloves could be reinforced with Gold Nuggets to up damage a bit more.
Those are ideas I came up with on the fly while typing this post. Ideas that might make Pandas, Bears, AND horses worth adding, along with associated objects.
Hmm, your ideas are pretty good, but I doubt an entire update will be based on a couple of mobs maybe it could be part of a larger mob update, but I don't think such an update would involve zombie animalmen even if it does happen. Also, I think the pigs might be permanent, it's kind of disappointing but, I guess they want to be unique. Honestly though, everything has a purpose, it's a matter of what has a better/ more important purpose. The arrow and leather drops are good, but they are not new items. Also, someone could simply get a cow and chicken farm. For some reason people don't remember you can craft arrows. Oh, I think sugar cane is bamboo... or at least some people call it that. Bah, I'm going on into a tangent at this point.

Eh, it's relevant due to my post, which was in direct response to yours, which was on topic. Sugar Cane is...sugar cane. It looks somewhat like bamboo, but it's not, for sure. There's bamboo in my own back yard; I don't know how it got there, but it's there. They ARE related, though...But still. Sugar Cane =/= Bamboo. You can craft arrows, yes, but flint is yet another material based on RNG. It's not uncommon, but you still need to sift through a fair amount of gravel most of the time to get any. As to cow/chicken farms...I don't know how many maps I've deleted because I couldn't find ANY animals other than sheep, which seem to be friggin EVERYWHERE. Sometimes, you just aren't that lucky, y'know?
Is the Zombie Pigman not just a modified zombie?
--No. It spawns in a different dimension, runs faster, and attacks under different circumstances
Is the Wither Skeleton not just a modified skeleton?
--No. It spawns in a different dimension, attacks differently, and has a unique effect.
Is the nether not just a modified overworld?
--No, it is vastly different, for many obvious reasons.
Is Minecraft not a sandbox game that is built into an infinite list of possibly amazing things because you modify one thing into another by adding or removing features in addition to digging and building structures?
--I don't really understand that one.
Is the zombie cowman just a slightly modified skeleton?
Yes. It spawns under the same conditions and attacks in the same way.
This seems like you came up with a redundant mob trying to ride off of the existing concept of zombie pigmen. The Wither skeleton is different from normal skeletons because it:
Spawns in a different dimension and
Uses melee attacks, not long-range and
Has more health than it's Overworld brethren and
Gives the player the Wither effect, the most dangerous effect in the game and
Drops Wither Skeleton Skulls, used to create the Wither
A zombie pigman is different from a normal zombie because it spawns in the Nether and, most importantly, it's Neutral, not hostile like normal zombies. They are also a source of renewable gold.
This idea is literally just a zombie pigman with a reskin holding a bow. Therefore, regardless of the other mobs you list, this would be a redundant copy.
