I was wondering does anyone know if the minecraft creators even bother looking at the suggestions in the forum. I mean these suggestions are genius, and i want a lot of them to be implemented, but does it ever happen?
Yes and some have already been implemented like the hopper(the variant of the allocator suggestion) and pumpkin pie. One suggestion that Mojang has responded to and has a good chance to be implemented is this one: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1133916-colored-glass-the-original/
They do take suggestions, but are more likely to read reddit/twitter/IRC. For example, the ender chest was some player's idea on a reddit thread.
I don't think they read this forum too often. Instead this forum is a good place to build community support for your idea, and recruit programmers to help make mods that serve as prototypes for Mojang to follow. So the suggestions forum won't give them direct input, but sets gears in motion for your idea to eventually reach them.

Agreed. However, you did either predict magically or suggest succesfully the Hopper Minecarts.
Bats were suggested a ton of times on both here and reddit before they were implemented. We have no way of knowing which one it was taken from, if it was taken from one at all. Just because one guys goes around bragging with a signature means nothing. The bats he suggested weren't even like the bats implemented.
OT: Allocator was added, if in a strange form. Colored glass got official response, which sort of counts. Snow levels got added after Badprenup's idea, but we can't really know whether it was him.

And I doubt they saw my thread. Besides, they only took a tiny little part of what I said, I had a lot more. But to me this has always just been a breeding ground for creativity and to gather support, as has been said. I hang out here because there are always new and interesting ideas, and that's what I love about it.

It must be a pain for Mojang to trudge through the threads on this forum. And it's sad that most of the ideas are never seen by Mojang - they get buried underneath the miserable, game-ruining suggestions that are constantly posted by people who (judging by their suggestions) have never played Minecraft.
I make it a point to think through all my suggestions thoroughly before posting them, which is why I've only made one suggestion, long since lost: An expansion on the keepInventory gamerule, which (judging by the new Scoreboard system) seems like exactly the kind of thing Mojang would implement. More so than bats, anyway.
This signature is currently under construction. We apologize for the inconvenience, and are doing our best to resume our normally scheduled wittiness and derision of copypasta signatures.
The redstone block was suggested in the same exact way as it is in the snapshots. Don't know by who. It''s too bad that a lot of the suggestions are ignored, there a lot of bad, but I've seen a lot of good suggestions too.

1: Pumpkin Pie
2: Powered Rails
3: Hopper Minecarts
4: Villager Breeding
Click them or they will click you
That's true. We may never know whether they took my suggestion or just had the same idea.
I can think of one more: Bats.

EDIT: I probably should have included a link to my suggestion if I'm going to mention it as an example. http://www.minecraft.../#entry20535311
sometimes unrecognizable.
