Okay, so I thought about villages and I think there should be different "types" of villages.
So, I drafted up one possible variant.
I did a search and didn't find anything like it.
Villager Mine
This structure spawns in any biome with fairly large hills (of course excluding the Nether) but most of the time in Extreme Hills.
I think it will add some variety to the hum drum Extreme Hills biomes.
Also, it will always be close to an Abandoned Mineshaft and sometimes even connected already.
Inside this area you will find 1-5 villagers who can be Merchants, Miners or Blacksmiths.
Merchants
Merchants wear elegant clothes with fur, hats and colored wool. If there is a merchant in a mine you will also find a pile of logs, a crafting table, a chest or a small stall. They are very special villagers because 3 trades will automatically be available instead of one. They sell things like Leather, Feathers, Saplings, Gold Bars, Leather Armor, Books, Maps, Sugar, Lapis Lazuli and multicolored Wool. A merchant can have a maximum of 5 trades (not individual trades, but 5 different things you can trade)
Miners
Miners wear hardy clothes meant for cave exploring like ragges leather, iron plates and tool pouches. All mines will have at least one miner. They will occasionally walk up and down the mine, and extend it with their Stone Pickaxe every now and then. Miners will sell things like Pickaxes (Stone, Iron), Shovels (Stone, Iron), Coal, Iron Ore, Gold Ore, Cobblestone, Stone, Logs, Torches and String.
Blacksmiths
Blacksmiths are basically the same as Vanilla Blacksmiths, but they also sell Chainmail Armor. If there is a blacksmith in a mine you will find an anvil, a furnace or a small smithy.
Mines also have a chance of spawning Ore Blocks, Chest Minecarts with a few ores, cobwebs and Abandoned Mineshafts.

Here is a quick mockup of what a mine could look like:
That would be nice, but i think a better look would be abandoned mineshaft that has an entrance on the surface, and the entrance is surrounded by a couple of small houses.

Thankyou!
I actually support. Great work!
Thanks!
As I said:
I guess there could be more houses and turn this into a village in itself, but I think it should be more of a small outpost for mining and trading.
Thanks!
You should +1 the post if you support so that we can count, maybe. I don't really know how people count support these days... lol
Thanks!
Generally, this will either lead into a mineshaft or it will be within a few chunks of a mineshaft, hence why the miners now and then go digging.
