Autumn forest biome A colorful forest arises as you continue your exploration. No one in these woods will ever starve, as the ripest apples fall from the trees and the ground is covered by mushrooms galore!
I would definitely like to see some sort of seasons going on in Minecraft. But in the absence of seasons, I could definitely see some biomes that are perpetually one season - as Taiga is always winter, so the Deciduous Forest could be always autumn, and the Plains always spring, or some such.
Still, some level of seasonal change would be appreciated. I know the game already has two holiday events tied to the real world (Christmas boxes and Halloween pumpkin heads), but I'm talking a much smaller time frame. (If I'm playing the game during real-world winter, I'd want it to be changing seasons so I could lose myself in in-game summer, and so forth.)
Harvest Moon has seasons that are 30 days each, and the year is four seasons long, so the whole year takes 120 days. (I've proposed before the idea of 8 or 12 mini-seasons (2 to 3 seasons per traditional season), so for example you don't have it snowing 100% of winter or have killer heat 100% of summer, but these effects could take place for half to one third of the season.) But having it be easier to find animals in the spring, easier to harvest things (crops or gathered mushrooms etc.) in the fall, snow in non-snow biomes in the winter, and I don't really know what for the summer, would allow the game to have a sense of ebb and flow that it does not currently have.

My YouTube channel is currently on hiatus, but I hope to get back to it at some point. Content is fairly random, but can be enjoyable, and is mostly game footage (mostly random Minecraft clips) from my nephews and me. Most popular MC vid so far is the one Vechs laughed at on Twitter!
now that we got Pumpkin Pastures in Minecraft Dungeons this should be even more of a reality tbh. add some fading spruce trees mixed with oak and birch and maybe dark oak? and assign red/orange/yellow leaves to them with orange grass and podzol and coarse dirt. maybe introduce squirrels and also have foxes spawn in it. it would be so beautiful. they could also have their own village variation where everything is brown and orange with a big pumpkin in the middle made out of pumpkin blocks.
