Maybe you can add alpha channel type shadows on the grass below tree leaves? maybe with the new way you programmed the textures to render maybe it wont cost as much if you thought of it before. =]
I've been thinking the same thing. Either add a semi-transparent black layer underneath trees, or actually use the leaf texture, turned black, and semi-transparent. Either or, really. It'd definitely help make things look a bit more varied, and just plain cool :smile.gif:
Additionally, it would be nice if we could have a way to change the location of the 'sun' (light source). Then we could shadow puppets out of a sunset. :smile.gif:
Also, i think it would look nice if the shadow looked like the leaves, more leaves = more shadow
