would it be possible to implement some sort of way to create multiple blocks at once? like if I was building a gigantic wall, instead of one block at a time, change my build-size to say, a 5x5x1 block?
like type /buildsize x y z
where x is orthogonal to the player-head to cursor vector, y is paralllel, and z is vertical? perhaps put upper limits on the dimensions?
not sure if this should apply to destruction. obviously wouldnt apply in gameplay modes that are not creative. (just make it a text command thats disabled in other modes)

Eighth Blocks. Plox. It would make me so very happy. (click it!)
eibx made a good point in one of the other threads... part of the fun of the game is that its difficult to build things. I remember several versions back (before you could set your own respawn point) I wanted a sky highway, so first I had to build stairways alllllll the way up, then carefully edge myself over so i could attach a block to the end of the highway without falling. then I would fall and climb alllll the way up again.... it was annoying but oh so awesome once I built it.
not sure if a multibuild would take away the satisfaction... though I think it would help a lot with replayability. after a while people may tire of doing things so slowly and painstakingly.
not sure about noclip in creative mode for the same reason. It is probably the best way to create things, but it was always a fun challenge to build things from the bottom up in such a way that I could be able to build it higher, then delete my "staging" that I used to walk on... again, replayability. after a while the tedium of this method of building might wear on you.

Possibly the OP could set stuff so multiple block destruction was possible...take the Delete Everything map, for example. Invariably useful there.
