I have a small suggestion, what if you could place a book on a flat surface, and read it like a scroll? I think this feature would be pretty cool, you could place books in places like church altars and tabletops.

Do you like space games? I like space games. You should check out Starsector!

+1 Wait can the palette be customized to use any color dye, And can you put in less then six colors if you dont have six colors?
I assume you mean five colors.
And no, for now, you'd have to put in those five colors, but there are some who disagree.
What about yellow? You can get yellow dye from dandelions, I think that should be included in the pallet, or maybe even replace the green (I know in real pallets, green replaces yellow, but just for simplicity's sake, can we make it yellow?)

This would make it too easy for grassy biome spawners, and too hard for desert biome spawners.
Try to keep comments to the current topic (literature).
Music would be a big thing. Perhaps be able to compose songs of up to 10 measures per disc? Also add more instruments, maybe make the jukebox play custom records.

Yes I have no profile picture.
Yes that is a bad idea.
It would create more of a purpose for bookshelves. Actually, you should be able to place a book as if a block, and once you have at least three, you can take them and put them into the bookshelf. I'm not sure if this was covered, but each book's description should be its name, so books that aren't blank can be distinguished. Blanks should be stackable, though.
Also, you can make a copy of a book by crafting a blank book, an ink well, and a written book. The ink well takes damage, the written book stays, and a copy of the written book comes out.
I don't quite get what your saying. Is it a craft square, like the one below?

However, I have a suggestion. Maybe rather than this, there could be a printing press. You put in an ink sac, an unfinished book, and a finished book, and a copy shows up in the output square. Also, you can put in multiple books, as long as you have one ink sac for every book. It could be constructed like this:

That's a nice, clean implementation. It's a pretty niche function for a new 'crafting table' though.
I'm sorry, "niche"? I'm a bit of a newb on the forums, what does that mean?

Yeah. I was hoping you guys would give me some poll ideas. :smile.gif:
But that's what scrolls are for.
How about "How much books should you be able to put in the bookcase?" or "Should there be double bookcases?"
Good! I'll set that up.

Brain fart. Will fix.
I did it, but I think it could be vastly improved.
