We know tamed wolves always have red collars. There's no problem with that, right? Wrong.
Label me as wierd if you want, but I name my pets. Virtual or not. Now I'm having a hard time identifying which one of my wolves is who. Why? Because they all look EXACTLY THE SAME. How can we fix this? I think I've got an idea...
Color their collars! Now, I have 2 ideas on how you can do this, but let me explain the basics. First,
their collars cannot be white, black, any of the greys, yellow, or a pale color. Second, it only works with WOLVES YOU HAVE
TAMED. IT WOULD NOT AFFECT NEUTRAL OR HOSTILE WOLVES. Now, I shall tell you the two versions of my idea.
1. CRAFT
Ok, for this one, you must craft the collar BEFORE putting it on your wolf ( Tamed wolves will still have
red by default ). To get your collar in the color you want, it must be crafted with wool in that color. Here would be the recipe for the collar.

Replace the sponge with colored wool to get a collar of the same color ( Except for the exceptions mentioned above ).
2. DYE
This one is much easier. Just use a dye on the wolf to change it's collar to the color of the dye.
Simple and easy.

Yes. ****ing is normal , your parents do it all the time.
And thats part of the update.

The interent: Where men are men, women are men and kids are FBI agents
That ruins the fun of them - why only one (for a failed naming system) when you could have all your wolves swarm upon your enemy?
Oh, and the fear of textures keeps us from going anywhere. With that idea, we shouldn't have biomes. Or colored sheep. Or weather. Or day/night. Why? Less textures, of course!

Post all wolf related suggestions here.
Do people even try to search anymore, or do they just hover at the top of the front page?
Sorry about that! I kinda stopped searching when the search bar was disabled.
1) put this in google: site:minecraftforum.net
2) After site:minecraftforum.net, place what you are searching for.
Not complicated, but I didn't use search for a while after it was disabled, just because I didn't know how. :tongue.gif:
I nt fo this to be a feature, not a mod. I honestly don't really like mods. I play legit.
It's more convenient to have all 3 there to tear apart hostile mobs and help me collect ham.
