You could lead explosive mobs to water before killing.
Silent mobs (especially creepers) might not be good canidates for invisibility.
More ideas:
Slimey (splits like slimes)
Disguised (has Groucho disguise)
Unstable (teleports randomly every X seconds)
Creepers are THE explosive mob. No others. Invisible mobs is just a terrible idea. I've run into an invisible skeleton before, courtesy of a glitch. Or rather, I ran into his arrows and flailed around hopelessly because he was invisible and, as such, could not be fought. Terrible idea. Splitting is a quality unique to slimes, and only sensible for slimes to do.

This. I fought an invisible spider once. That was NOT fun.
(I also met a huge slime that looked like a small one for some reason. I tried to poke it)

At a loss for words? Here's a few you can use: Welcome, to Night Vale...
Two things come to mind. An army of skeletons riding on top of a ghast, and a ghast riding a spider.
I do like the idea of different varieties of creepers to better blend in, although I get the feeling one's missing.

I'm probably leaving mcf. Lost interest in staying on this forum, not that anyone really would care.

That's the thing; I don't know. You've already mentioned Sand, Snow, and Stone. Wood wouldn't make sense since we have the Original. Dirt is debatable. The only other options include stuff that don't make sense (water) or would probably be unneeded (nether).

Blood Wolf
-Twice as big with red fur.
-Rare Chance of spawning (even for wolves.)
-Is tamed by hitting it with fist, then bringing it down to half health with fists only. (To prove superiority)
-Is fed with cooked pork.
-Does more damage and has more health then normal wolves.
no longer will the inside of your walls be safe from explosions.
CREEPY SLIMES
(only half serious)
slimes that explode.
starts off as a large explosive slime. When you slash it a few times (or when it explodes) it becomes a bunch of smaller slimes. Which also explode.
Explosive (explodes upon death)
Spider (can climb walls)
Cool (sunglasses, creepers gonna creep)
Invisible (cannot be seen)
Aquatic (can breathe underwater)
Shadow (completely dark)
Zombie (zombified texture, groaning)
Mostly moved on. May check back a few times a year.
Nooooooooooooo. D:
Incompetence is a plague. I am the cure.
For all your wolf suggestion needs, I present the WOLF MEGATHREAD!

Should we make it a rule to limit one prefix to each mob?

I love the camoflauged creepers idea; creepers aren't much of a threat if you can see them from anywhere because of their BRIGHT GREEN colouration.
Better than giant or flying ones.

This is a good idea.
Also mummy zombies? And they spawn in desert biomes only. It would have the same skin color and face, but would be wearing tattered cloth.
Pretty much the only prefix mob I like thus far.
of greed - Mob has twice the drop rate
the frigid - When the mob dies, it slows all nearby enemies.

Am I a bad person for picturing a zombie with a big nose and a yarmulke?
