I support, but since copper is far more electrically conductive than iron, copper bars should have the higher probability to be struck compared to everything else not made of copper in the game unless they are obstructed on the top by something like stone, glass, sand or dirt.
And its electrical properties could be used as an "electrified fence" using redstone, so any mob that got too close to it would be electrocuted, it does not matter if they are animal or monster. For it to become an electrified fence it has to be part of a redstone circuit that is powered on to turn it "live", meaning any grounded mob or player that wandered too close to it would begin taking damage, 2.5 hearts a second without armour and die.
However, electrocution on a live fence could be avoided by not being grounded, this can happen when a player is walking along the top of electrified copper, sort of like a bird along the top of power cables. This would be an effective way for players to lure monsters to their demise.
Lastly, Creepers should be paralyzed when touching the electrified fence, disabling them from exploding, so players would be safe when luring them,
the downside would be that there are no drops, so it cannot be exploited for AFK farming.
It's like iron bars, but copper
Support, I'm always in favor of more building options. Perhaps Copper Bars can have a bit more decorative design & be less cage-like than Iron Bars
