This is a mod, I've seen in every modpack. Why is that?
1 - Sorts items in a chest.. Sorts this awful MESS most people have, when they play a bit
2 - Allows to scroll single items from and to chest. Example: I need one more iron bar to do pickaxe, but its in the chest, so i open it hover mouse on it and just scroll gently and it simply shifts to my slot in inventory. It may be a small thing, but I think it's really usefull and pleasant.
3 - Space + Left click when I have full inventory, I open the chest, I use this shortcut, and all my items are inside.(outcluding "fast use bar"? don't know how its named)(they behave like they were just shift clickef one after one, so I'm pretty sure that not that challenging do programm)
This is really small mod, but contains much more of (probably) usefull options that i dont know, because im too lazy to check out.
I know that adding mod to game is not right, but something what's included in (as I mentioned earlier) every modpack (I've played or seen).
I want bigger chests.. multiblocks, better chests (from more/better resources, like in ironchest mod), anything that's not chest in chest on chest between chests under another chests. Pretty please?
Thought similiar to previous ones is sorting system: because only (vanilla MC) one i know is by using this waterstreams, ice and exploit in hoppers. (This IS bad method)[i think]
Thank you for time you sacrificed for my modest person, I hope that I didn't waste your time by making you read this horror.
Im sure that next updates will be amazing, and i also hope, that I at least made a single thought such as "its not pointless".
That depends on the person owning the rights to the mod
You're right, this part of thread was pretty useless, sorry. If the creator allowed to use his code, or recieved determined payment It would't be any problem. Yet i dont remember that Mojang ever added anyone's mod, that makes me feel unsure about it. They like to add their original things, like in 1.17 will be this fish, nobody heard about, this makes this feeling that, mod ideas have lower priority just because they already exist.

They added pistons. It's the only item i know about that came from a mod.
Edit:
The problem isn't the code. A programmer doesn't usually look into a mods code if he likes the feature.
It realy seems like mojang is very careful to create something own and unique.
The optifine zoom for example isn't hard to code (i don't know how to code it ok, it's just a zoom. There should be more then one way to code such a feature) but it took them that long to implement it with the spyglass.
It's not as practicle as optifine zoom imo but i like the way they did it.

That depends on the person owning the rights to the mod and mojang.
There are many amazing mods out there that make you question "why don't they add this?".
The best example imo are all mini-/map mods. For navigation purpose alone i have not seen a mod that is worse then vanilla maps.
I'm not saying vanilla maps are useless. In fact they encaurage creative use. For navigation alone however they are very unpracticle.
My projects:
-are abandoned for now. I might pick 'em up in the future.
For now i'm working on a private modpack that suit's my own playstyle.
I am gonna stay in modded 1.12.2 untill my potato dies. No mercy! :Q
