At the moment horse armor lacks enchantments.
I think it should change, to add more creative uses and tactics for mounts, as well as give incentive for collection and upgrading of multiple sets.
1. Melee protection I-IV - horse takes less damage from melee strikes, giving reason for more aggressive tactics than Mongolian shoot and scoot;
2. Magic protection I-IV - horse takes less damage from potions of harming and shortens timers of potions thrown at it;
3. Maneuverability I-III - horse strafes and backpedals faster;
4. Fighting fury - if below 50% of HP, the horse kicks every target melee'd by rider, dealing additional damage;
Notes: Due to lack of wear of horse armor, mending and unbreaking are redundant. All horse armor enchantments are mutually exclusive with each other.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Totalitarian architecture. Angular, defensible masonry over sleek, sloped carpentry.
Taking it slow. Provoking into attack typically does better rushing.
Underground engineering. Well-lit tunnels are much safer and often cheaper than any surface construct.
-----
Farmability. One of primary concerns relating to any feature.
Practical mobs. No annoyances taking up space and processor power.
Generalism and simplicity. Overly complicated and specialized concepts hardly ever come into fruition.
Full support- Horses need a bit more in terms of customization. It would be cool if you could do something like this with dogs- I know there are mods out there that add enchantable dog collars/armor. This just feels like something that should already be a part of the game. (Sorry cats, but you're pretty much useless.)
