So I was watching Tango Tek’s video called: what if Minecraft had mummies () and I decided to steal that ideas, but add a few things so I can take credit.[/p]
Snakes and Shepherds staff[/p]
Snakes will be added to the game, specifically Cobras and Serpents And rattle snakes. Serpents naturally Spohn in the desert during the day he will not attack the player, Cobras Spohn in the jungle and rattle snakes Spohn in grass biome. Cobras will eat any snake. This will also introduce a new artifact called the shepherds staff which will turn into a serpent and will fight for you two of there are no mobs Around or defeated. The staff will be found in archaeology dig sites in the desert. Once your staff snake is defeated which is unlikely against other snakes as they don’t attack cobras. The staff also splits rivers and streams. Yes this is a reference to the book of Exodus. Snakes are generally friendly among players but will attack you if you go near their nests. [/p]
Pyramids: the royal quarters[/p]
Pyramids have 2 parts: The Royal quarters and the below ground tomb. The royal quarters has 2 main parts. The upper part houses the royalty such as the pharaoh and his wife, 2 princes, and 2 princesses. The bottom part will house the servants which will include a chef, A maid and the soldiers. The areas of the lower part of the pyramid will include a kitchen, cattle pen, grand silos, servants quarters a shrine (to the creeper) because of the sandstone, a stable, a workshop, an entrance hall, and a main hall. The upper parts include: for master bedrooms, a nursery, and a chapel. Most of the Things here do exist in the upper class mansions. [/p]
Pyramid: The Tomb[/p]
The maze itself is pretty much identical to the one in tango’s video except for some things. Instead the torches you light give you a single code to the grand tomb in the royal tomb (which houses the royal servants. The royal tomb contains the mummified remains of the 2 princes and princesses. The princes and princesses have their own abilities. The prince mummies attacks are gust (which blinds you), whip which knocks your weapon out of your hand and Egyptian spear which he can use to jab at you in quick succession for small nicks of health or throw at you for massive damage. The princess mummy has the linen wrap which she throws at you and begins to wrap you, the wrapping will slow your movement and decrease your damage and attack speed until you can’t move or attack and you fall to the ground (the counter is to hit the linen wraps 3 times with a sword and your time before you’re mummified is shorter the higher the difficulty and the linen wraps have a very tiny hotbox, another is hitting her with a sword but the wrapping won’t go away and she will continue wrapping after a certain amount of time determined by the level of knock back and difficulty), the next will be the Egyptian saber and bow. The saber is made of copper and does damage between a stone and iron sword. The bow shoots harming tipped arrows. The stat difference between the prince and princess mummy is that the prince walks at the same speed as the player with the health of an iron golem, the princess is on a speed II and A smaller hit box than the player but the same health as the player. If you beat all 4 children, you receive a reward: 32 lapis, 2 diamonds, 16 emeralds, 8 gold and 4 iron and 12 copper and a new room will open up where you may defeat the pharaoh and his queen. The pharaoh has the same abilities as his son plus the ability to summon 2 serpents that will poison you if you get too close. The Queen will have the same as her daughters plus the ability to summon scorpions which will poison you on sight. The Queen and Princesses will drop linen cloth, 32 per princess and 64 per queen which you can use to wrap your own enemies including all humanoid npcs and players. The pharaoh and princes will drop a whip part to make a whip to make which will disarm all npcs and players. [/p]
Cotton[/p]
Cotton can be used to make clothes which have no armor benefits whatsoever and just look good. Cloth shirts you can put a banner pattern on like a shield. It can also be used to make linen cloth to wrap your enemies. [/p]
We have pyramids already.
I'd rather see some upgraded husks there, maybe in bandages or armor.
I don't really support the idea of serpents, they seem quite wacky thing to implement in a cubical world.
I think archaeological sites may have much better drops than a fighting staff... besides, the players have wolves and iron golems for assistance.
If we are to have an additional support mob, I'd rather see a competent ranged fighter (that may need ammo) or utility mob that acts as minecart pusher, oarman, programable walker for redstone contraptions, suicider with no block damage, or something similar, not yet another melee fighter.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Dwarf gamer found:
Buildings - square, not round
Materials - from rubble mound
Dark caves - lit 'n' cleaned out
Settlements - deep underground
Farmability - to grinder bound
Shields - made creepers but sound
Axes and crossbows - taking mobs out
This isn't exactly how I'd want to implement a new system- but I definitely agree that the temples/dungeons need some rethinking. They made sense back when they were introduced years ago- but with so many areas of the game being updated, they've sort of been left behind. Jungle pyramids have an interesting puzzle that's easily circumnavigated; desert pyramids have disproportionately good loot, (not to mention the TNT), considering how easy they are to complete; and ocean monuments have the opposite problem, requiring you to fight your way through a disproportionately difficult challenge for a bit of gold, and prismarine- which can now be obtained in ruins elsewhere.
So yes, these dungeons definitely need an update- but it should still be something that works well with the existing game. More procedural generation such as randomized room layouts and challenges to keep players on their toes... and possibly new mobs and more balanced loot tables.

Ok, you seem to have some ideas people would be interested in.
So here is my sugestion: work on how you write your threads.
You just post your ideas all over the place in one huge wall of a text, wich is scaring people!
Sort your ideas in blocks of text, with fancy colored headlines. (- I recommand readable colours)
How you create a thread is completly up to your fantasy, the same goes with your ideas.
Make your writings appealing to people, lure them in, dont scare them away.
And don't be mad at me. I just want to help you reach out, since you seem to have many ideas.
My projects:
-are abandoned for now. I might pick 'em up in the future.
For now i'm working on a private modpack that suit's my own playstyle.
I am gonna stay in modded 1.12.2 untill my potato dies. No mercy! :Q
Very scary, indeed.
