Rods: [/p]
I have an idea for a new item in Minecraft: Rods. So we currently use sticks for the handles for our tools, but what if there were other ways. Rods. Rods can be used in your tools for cool features. For example, there’s iron rods, made with 2 iron ingots on top of each other like with sticks, will give you extra durability for your tools. There’s blaze rods which act as a furnace on your tool. For example, if you chop down wood with an axe, it will become charcoal. If you mine an ore, it will automatically turn it into the ingot, works with ancient debris, doesn’t affect durability or mining speed. Gold rods make you mine a bit faster but for less durability. Grips: [/p]
Grips are made out of rubber which comes from latex which must be extracted from a tree which is obtained by shaving the bark and placing a cauldron underneath the shaved log which will automatically fill with latex. There will be 2 new trees: Apo and Sapo trees which produce latex. The color of the rubber will vary based off of the tree it came from. The liquid latex will be put into a clay tray (made same configuration as a mine cart and put over a fire), Then flattened, then moisturized, then dried, then moisturized again. Then put over a campfire using a hanging rack. You can die it if you want, purely aesthetic. After the process, you will get 12 rubber sheets, each of which can be made into 12 rubber strips. Each tool costs 2 strips for your grips on both sides of your tool to make your grips. You can also use leather to make strips for your grips, though will only be half as good. The grips will increase the speed at which you swing your tool unless you land a critical hit with your tool.[/p]
Armor padding:[/p]
Made from rubber and will reduce flinch when taking damage. Costs one Leather or one rubber sheet and will reduce flinch when you take damage in any form except from potions.[/p]
Rope:[/p]
Made with 6 string in the configuration of wood for a door. Can be used to make rope ladders which hang like vines and is reverse scaffolding as in if you place down a rope ladder and place another one on it, it will extend downwards but never upwards. Rope can be used to make trapezes to swing from one place to another in a straight line up to 15 blocks. Made from a full column of rope on each side and a slab in the middle at the bottom. The Player can switch from one trapeze to another as long as the trapeze you’re on is in full swing as you switch the switch by jumping found the trapeze that you are on wow it is fully swung in the direction you want to jump into the other trapeze. The momentum fund the trapeze in full swing will give you a jump boost of up to seven or eight blocks. Hop on the trapeze by jumping on it. Ropes can also be used to make a strong leash that will have more influence on animals you lead. [/p]
Chain links:[/p]
Finally a way to craft chains and chain mail. You start with a chain link craft using the iron nuggets in the same configuration as you would with a chest just in the crafting menu. If you feel all nine flats with chain links you will get Chainmail which can be used to craft chain mail armor. Chain mail will instead be worn under regular armor. There’s another option instead of using it to craft chain mail you can use it to craft chains, Everyone’s favorite decoration item.[/p]
