okay so I have re thought the “sky dimension” idea and as you all have said Mojang will not Be adding any more dimensions, instead of a new dimension there could be sky islands of which are made of Roughly a 30/30 Platforms high in the sky these new islands will be called nightmare islands which are visible from the ground. The islands would be containing Chests These chests will contain the new tier of feather falling And as well as some Membrane and also Various generic loot as well.To add some challenge to this there would be several phantoms circling the platform causing you to have to defeat them all before even getting a chance to open the chests. This new feature would be added in with a “dungeons and structure update” were any old or ineffective designs (zombie, skeleton and spider Spawners where you can very easily reach the chest from outside the spawner structure radius so you can just mine around it.) other structures could be as simple as adding some of the new nether blocks to a nether fortress instead of a complete redesign but just something to refresh the structures in Minecraft.
AFAIK Mojang annouced there will be no new dimensions.
Besides:
1. End already acts as "sky dimension".
2. You got potions, water buckets and feather falling enchantment for a reason.
3. We have clouds in Overworld, they are but a graphical effect.

This is a terrible way to describe a dimension. You just named off a couple things and then left your idea incomplete for others to fill in the blanks for you. NOT how you post an idea. Always complete it first. Not everyone is gonna check back to see if your idea is finished. So finish the idea first. This is so vaguely explained that it hurts, so there's nothing that interesting to support. So... no support.

Let me clarify what he... we are talking about.
Haunted/Evil biome would be similiar to ordinary areas, except:
1. (mostly my own idea) Different mob spawning - phantoms would spawn in such biomes regularily, every night (in other biomes, they would not spawn at all anymore, no insomnia mechanic), as well as better equipped undead enemies, and inability to spawn passive mobs.
2. (his idea) Floating island structures, that only generate in these biomes, and have loot chests with phantom membrane and feather falling V (VI, VII) enchanted boots (that's the one part where I, tow4rzysz disagree), in addition to normal loot tables taken from dungeons or village chests.
3. (my own idea) Dimmed foliage colour and/or special particle effect in the air, akin to Basalt Deltas and Nether Forests.
Other than that, I see proposals of:
1. (his idea) Dungeon redesign, to make reaching spawner, as well as chests more difficult
2. (his idea) Nether Fortress redesign - at the moment it looks very ascetically, and aside from fences here and there it lacks any kind of decoration, including wart-infested blocks and chiseled nether brick.

It's called speaking the truth. Don't let my post count fool you, I've been here for a long time so I've seen every type of awful suggestion. Not that I'm saying yours is that terrible, but there are parts of the idea that feel thrown in at the last minute. A lot of the threads I "throw shade at" are people who lazily fart out ideas and expect to be showered with positive reception because they don't know how to hear what they don't want to hear.
This also includes people who make threads of ideas that have been hated for over 6 years because no one uses the search function here (ex: herobrine crap, fighting villagers, emerald armor, all that garbage...) Take a look at these threads here:
I've contributed about 70% of you see there. I also co-wrote the first 2 suggestion guides before they were turned into lackluster guides that removed a lot of helpful info.

I'd like to see these islands in some "evil" biomes with no naturally spawning animals and increased rate and higher armament grade of other mobs.
And preferably being the only phantom spawning site.
