Plants in the Nether are fine, I'm not saying they should be removed, but they should be tweaked a bit. The Crimson Forest and the Warped Forest should be made very rare. They should be like oasis's in the Nether, very far from each other and very few of them. In my opinion, the Nether should be a wasteland. It is a wasteland. It's original biome name was "Hell" but now it just feels like the Jungle Biome. The Crimson Forest and Warped Forest should stay, but now they take up a large portion of the Nether's biomes. I instead think that Mojang should add more geological biomes as well, apart from just the Soulsand Valley and a few others. A Boneyard or a Nether Spires Biome are a few I can think of off the top of my head, but many more can also be thought of.

Hey guys I'm James, I used to be a noob but now I'm not, I finally figured out how to use TextCraft so here's a banner for one of my suggestions.
I'm fine with what is now.
SSV is a boneyard already with so large amounts of skeletons and giant ribcages, and spires are present in form of basalt collumns there.
And the most common place are still Nether Wastes, Warped Forests are relatively rare.
And in Crimson forest you got two fairly strong pig-mobs that can easily gut you without preparation, so it's rather mediocre relief.

Dwarf gamer found:
Buildings - square, not round
Materials - from rubble mound
Dark caves - lit 'n' cleaned out
Settlements - deep underground
Farmability - to grinder bound
Shields - made creepers but sound
Axes and crossbows - taking mobs out
this is just because of fear of change, in the beginning it don't really feel right but It's really really fun to play in the new biomes oncew you get the grip of it, even if I would love to see more nether waste-like biomes or variants in the future...
forest and valleys edge like overworld biomes would be really nice too, as now the transition from a biomes to another can feel overwhelming especially because of the color and theme transition

Fear of change? I churn out proposals over and over.
I wouldn't really mind another wasteland-type biome if well-made, but current diversity makes me content, what can I say?

I'm fine with the valleys. It's just that the forests need to be rarer. Or, one way to get around this without making them rarer would be to just introduce way more biomes (there still isn't much) and make way more biomes without vegetation.

When I think about this now, we in fact might make in particular the Crimson Forests rarer.
I look around the nether and it's more of an alien world now than wasteland it used to be, no matter how deadly the new life is.

I'm pretty sure they were just agreeing with you...
