Can't log into my account because after failing my password 4ish times, i had to reset it. Then i tried logging in with my new credentials and it says they're incorrect. I looked it up, someone said after 3 failed attempts you get locked out for 3 hours. You have got to be kidding me. No one in this universe is going to try and hack my MINECRAFT account. Literally no one would. I don't want your trash protection. I'm not stupid, i know how to take care of my accounts. I appreciate you guys wasting 3 hours of my time for literally no reason whatsoever. Also fix your trash client, it keeps logging me out which makes me have to guess my password and then reset it after i type in every password i would've used. Don't log me out, and don't ever lock me out of my own account. If you're going to keep this dog crap up, i expect a full refund with some compensation for you wasting my time.
Companies have to protect them these days due to lawsuits; I know this may be annoying to some, however, they don't want to liable for banned accounts on servers that you spent real money. The "client" is actually called a launcher and It should remember your username (email) and password of all accounts linked to it. All accounts that haven't been migrated over to a Mojang account or email login can no longer log in untell they follow those steps provided.
However, I do note the change to the non-email login is against the terms of buying the initial account that was bought at a period of time in which could land Microsoft liable down the line if they start charging for updates.
This forum is not owned by or affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft, and their employees do not visit our site regularly. Furthermore this section is to suggest new content for the game, not to vent about account security protocols you disagree with.
If you have an issue with your account or Mojang policies, it would be best to bring it up with them directly via support ticket or reaching out to an official Mojang/Microsoft account on a different platform. That is the most likely way to have your complaint addressed by the company itself.
