The idea is to make Minecraft Bigger. Making the world 5 or 10 times deeper, with new ores like rubies, saphires, aluminum, zinc, copper, tin, and silver. Diamond, of course, would stay as the rarest and useful, to balance the game out. Diamond would be found at some of the deepest depth along with emeralds, rubies, and saphires because in real life gems require lots of pressure to make. The new gems would be used to trade with new tradable entities like zombie pigman in nether villages, and underground cities full of the new entity "The Forgotten". The new ores would be used in new crafting recipes that would involve machinery like that of a steampunk world like engines, and new tools and weapons that would be used to not only help survival but access new locations underground like the barrier. This is a very hard block to break that is the entrance to the nether from above. It would be breakable but a lot hard to break the obsidian. This would serve as another option to enter the nether. The underground will also include new structures like fossils from extinct species that can be made into new magical bone weapons that would do as much damage as a stone sword or ax, but give the player a random buff when crafted. There would also be new liquids like oil and magical goo. The oil would be used in the machinery, and the magical goo would be an insanely rare find only be found in an underground Lazarus well found in lost ruins.
I know this idea needs work please add your criticism and suggestions.

I like the idea of new ores, but sometimes when you have too many ores, it can get a little crazy (I know this because I used to have an ore mod). In your post you mentioned rubies, rubies were already thought of by Mojang and the got rid of the idea and replaced them with emeralds (Villagers got lucky). In my personal opinion, I'm not a big fan of the "Magical Staffs", "Magic Goo" and "Fossils from extinct species". Overall this was a good post, keep it up.
Also, in your post, you mentioned "The barrier" where you can access the Nether by breaking through it. There is a reason why they are called "Dimensions" like the "End Dimension" and the "Nether Dimension". these are supposed to be like different worlds, in another existence. So "The Barrier" idea might not work.
This would be easier to read if you spaced the different parts of your idea to different sections.
That said, I'm not a fan of the idea, mainly because you have given us very little reason to actually want this other than because it is "more". I don't want "more" unless it is useful and adds to the game in a meaningful way. There are exceptions to that, such as a new decorative block or ambiant mob. There aren't many details explaining what a lot of the ores are used for, just some vague ideas.

I just wanted to say that I think the Nether is supposed to be 'under' the overworld. That's why the ceiling of the Nether is Bedrock while the bottom of the Overworld is Bedrock. That also falls inline with the discrepancy of distance. Even though the overworld is flat for all intents and purposes, the only reason I can surmise for 1 steps in the Nether equaling 8 steps in the overworld is that the Nether is underneath a cubic overworld. That's how volume works after all.
The reason the End has only one entry and one exit is that it's a true dimension as opposed to the Nether which is fundamentally linked/a part of the overworld.
Also supported by the fact that the achievement "We Need to go Deeper" is triggered by going to the Nether. Implying that the Nether is underneath the Bedrock in the Overworld.

The Nether is NOT canonically below the Overworld, it's a different dimension itself.

My suggestions: Enhancements - Throwable Fire Charges - On Phantoms and Elytra. Also check out The Minecraftian Language. This signature is not here to waste your space.
