There is one shade of colour I can never remake in my builds and thus opt to just use stone. And thats the beautiful shades of limestone. Limestone was often used in more opulent builds in the past, like the Salisbury Cathedral UK, Notre Damme, paris and many streets of big cities. You'll see it all over the place in europe, I can testify.. so when I try and make a palace district, I feel forced to use end stone, but it doesnt look right. Too sandy. We need something similar, like between sandstone, and stone and maybe a little greener. It could spawn naturally next to ocean biomes as I did my research and a lot can be found IRL around oceans, also in caves but its rarer, and a stone block from the ocean would be cool.
what do u think? Is there a stone in minecraft that looks like that? I thought dead coral, but too grey, stone/andesite, too grey, endstone, too bright, sandstone, too reddish/yellow
I thiknk that limestone should spawn just like andesite, diorite or granite, and have polished, slab and stair variants. This would give people (or at least builders) incentive to keep it, instead of throwing it out.
