Doesn't this ruin the concept of "peaceful daytime, dangerous nighttime?" Not that is always followed by Mojang, but in general, they seem to take an effort to make night time the time you are being hunted by monsters, and day time the time you can feel safe to walk around. Orcs roaming during the day might ruin that.
Orc is aggressive day-time mob.
Somewhat like pillager. But unlike pillagers, orcs do not form groups. If orc spawns, no other orc can spawn nearby.
Chance you meet Orc is low (almost like witch). But unlike witch, orcs do not have structures they attach to, they start to patrol area after spawn.
They spawn in forest biome.
The main difference from other mobs is that orcs wear full stack of armor and shield.
So meet Orc is somewhat like to meet another player in survival mode.
Why I suggest this idea:
Discovering Minecraft world is kind a boring at the day time. No challenges for player except Pillagers and Witches.
It would be cool to know that somewhere nearby dangerous creature can walk (not static like witch, but mobile, hunting the player).
It will spice up the game a little.

What about witches and pillagers? It is same thing.
Orc is rare monster. It is not easy to meet him.
But if you do, you can avoid him (when you hear specific sounds), or just run from him.
Day time is too peacfull... It is boring to know no one can hurt you.
When day is over, you just throw bed on the ground and sleep.
Playing this way, you will never meet monsters (except caves). Isn't it boring?
If someone wants to be completly safe - he can just turn easy difficulty.
From the other hand I wish to have mob who imitates real player behaviour.
Wearing full stack of armour and use shield.
I want a duel. One on one without other mobs.
