I want a new red stone block, very end game and hard to get, that makes all red stone components in a radius activate for a short length of time. This could be used in red stone devices or to combat red stone devices. Maybe beacons should protect against it? Just thought it might be cool.
This sounds like the normal "make redstone torches turn themselves off then turn on again" pulser, which is really easy and cheap to make. While a specific block for this would be handy, there is a LOT of explanation that is needed here, like how you get it, its crafting recipe, how fast the pulses would be, stuff like that. It would also be helpful to see what something like that would look like as well.

I don't even play Minecraft much anymore yet here I am on the Minecraft forums for some reason...

Given the number of RS devices that would want all components to "activate for a short length of time" [small; piston farms being the only example that comes to mind – and the clock controling the pulser might well be broken by the activation], and the relative ease of activating a large number of select RS components in a volume, I expect the main use for this would be griefing RS builds. [Particularly given the mention of beacons being modified to protect against the effect.]

WARNING: I have an extemely "grindy" playstyle; YMMV — if this doesn't seem fun to you, mine what you can from it & bin the rest.
Very poorly thought out. So I suppose the idea, for example, is to activate a button/lever inside a base so one can get in. Thing is, if said button opens a piston door, it deactivates the pistons. So this block will also keep pistons activated and door closed. What else will your block activate? Arrow dispensers? TNT/lava traps?
