The rougeworld is a dimension. It can have no air, instead it is all replaced by water. It has a roof, like thenether. The roof is made of ice, packed ice, and blue ice, and the floor is the same, but with stone underneath, and some gravel. There is iron and gold in the stone. There are volcanos. They are full of magma blocks, and are made of stone, iron, gold, diamonds and orokhalkon. Orokhalkon is basically yellow redstone that works underwater. Exposed orokhalkon ore can have bubbleplants growing on them. Bubbleplants have dark-blue stems, with the width of a fence, with a glowing yellow 'bubble' at the top. The bubble will regrow if removed. It can be eaten, to give water breathing and night vision for 2 minutes, and 6 hunger points. There is also variously coloured seagrass on the top and bottom of the rougeworld. The surfaces are covered in slug-like creatures of various colours, sizes, and, proportion with some having various numbers of legs. They mainly have feathery structures on the front, sometimes the back also, but a few are hostile, and have long horizontal jaws, and some others have shorter jaws, and eat seagrass. There are also swimming creatures. These also vary in the same ways, except that they are less flat, and some have crushing jaws and eat bubbleplant bubble, but never seagrass. It is reached by an underwater packed ice portal, which is upright like a nether portal, automatically lit when made, and is blue-swirling.
Tell me, why should we add this dimension to the game? What prevents Mojang from adding this to say, the ocean floor? Do you think another dimension is necessary?
Yikes, the amount of stuff in there that needs detailing…
Picking one:
Orokhalkon (waterproof redstone) would be absolutely game changing.
No longer would a mis-broken block be able to wash out chunk sections of intricate builds,
nor would cable vaults be needed to wire the ugly, obscuring lighting needed to allow one's bubble free underwater builds to be admired in safety.
Given the state secondary use of farming bubble plants, some renewable source of this additioon ought be included to avoid the obliteration of the containing biome. [This may well be justification for adding this as a dimension as the orokhalon supply would then be more nearly hypothetically unlimited, as with nether quartz. (In both cases the size of the world one's computer can effectively store/support imposes a finite limit.)]
A waterproof redstone variant would be exceedingly useful, but (regrettably) is quite unlikely to be added as the fragility of RS builds seems to be a WAI.

Orokhalkon is just so that redstone can be used in the rougeworld. The bubbleplant bubbles regrow, and are easy to farm.

Why do we need this new dimension?
My suggestions: Enhancements - Throwable Fire Charges - On Phantoms and Elytra. Also check out The Minecraftian Language. This signature is not here to waste your space.
You can get orokhalkon, which is rather useful. It can also be useful for farming bubbleplants.
Planetary travel
Chaostone
Whales and whalefalls
And why does it need a separate dimension

Neat ideas but it doesn't need its own dimension. This can all just be placed in the ocean biome.
A good idea for mod.
