Your suggestion seems very vague in terms of what the birds can do to players, because from what I can tell these mobs, especially the eagle, will be super annoying in those biomes and remind me of day phantoms.
I don't think we should have hostile eagles. In the past, bald eagles were endangered by hunters. We shouldn't encourage random killing of birds. They don't attack us in real life.
I did not intend to have players attack them, instead to have them attack mobs and be a friend to the player, just like a wolf. Same thing with the hawk. By the way, they are not hostile they are actually neutral and will only attack the player in defense. Also their population status at the moment is greatly increasing compared to 40 years ago.

Yet you posted right below the bald eagle:
-hostile
Whether or not it can be tamed is irrelevant if the bald eagle starts attacking. You will attack back. And if you are just strolling around your base and see an eagle and don't feel like taming it, you will hold a preemptive attack. This is why all hostile mobs are monsters, not animals. Anything that attacks you is the game encouraging you to kill all of them for your protection. Neutral mobs are reserved for more dangerous animals, as the game wants you to leave them be as you would in real life.
It was a mistake, I meant to put neutral but I fixed the mistake, now as the suggestion is fixed it can we go around the whole hostile neutral situation and can you provide feedback on whether you like the idea due to features or if you do not like it. I would also like to know what mob you would like.
-Can be tamed with cod, raw chicken or turtle eggs Solid, although I don't think many people would use their turtle eggs on the eagle
-When tamed can soar high and swoop down to attack mobs So it's just a new kind of wolf? I suppose the air attack is unique. Solid.
-Can pick up little mobs like a chicken, or baby turtle On command? How would you tell it to do this? Or would it just do this randomly?
-Have nests in birch trees Would they have a new nest block, or just hang out in birch trees?
-Most abundant in extreme mountains or birch forest Where are their nests in the extreme mountains?
-If you click on their nest it will open a tiny chest gui with 3 slots and have a chance to have items (armor[leather - chain], chicken eggs) Oh so the nest is a block. Would the eagle attack you for looking into it's stuff?
-On death they have a chance to drop cod, feathers or hawk eye or 0-2 exp What does the hawk eye do?
-Will not go underground or underwater Interesting, I like this. Balances out the power of the hawk.
-Can catch fish swimming in water when they want (Better have a sealed aquarium) Might this end up more annoying than useful?
Hawk (black hawk):
-Neutral Mob Indeed it is.
-Can be tamed with cod, raw chicken or chicken eggs Okay.
-When tamed will remain in the area found unless greeted with a hawk glove (made from leather) Nice
-Like to sit on fences This is a fun visual quirk.
-Will not fight hostile mobs, but instead alert the player when one is nearby I like that ability.
-Will attack pigs and chickens At random? This might be annoying. Also do hawks actually attack pigs? Pigs seem much bigger.
-If more than one hawk is owned by a player, a random one will be come when hawk glove is out (must be tamed first) What if you want MORE hawks?
-Also eats lizards (if lizards are eventually added to the game) Well that's a bit random don't ya think. Please explain what the lizard does.
-On death they have a chance to drop cod, feathers or hawk eye or 0-2 exp What is this hawk eye? HELP
-Will not go underground or underwater So same as eagle?
-Will go fish for you (Have the hawk glove on and the hawk on it (or near you) then click on the fish, if the fish is close enough to the surface it will be able to get it) (Will not attack squids) Yes, same as eagle.
So guys what would you prefer? I will probably try and make a model on the winner(s). Please post whether you agree, find any flaws or anything you would believe will make it better.

Overall I think both need plenty more detail. I find list are great for yourself to get everything down, but when it comes to explaining things to other people using paragraphs is best. But what's to learn from reading? I'll prove it to you!
My Suggestions
-Neutral opinion
-Explain everything I was confused about.
-Expand upon everything, even the smaller things.
-Add some formatting to make it look nicer.
-You will find people are more open when they see a good presentation.
-Like right now you are probably disagreeing because of the bad presentation.
-You don't need a model although it would be helpful.
-I like to use pictures from google, low time consuming yet gets the point across.
-Drop the eagle mob, and focus on the hawk which has a more interesting skill set.
-Expand upon hawk ability, like how far is it to see.
-Most importantly, explain why this should be added to the game.
-Create world peace with the mythical hawk eye drop from the mythical lizard mob.
I agree with the feedback and I had a fully written response but the tab crashed on me, earlier today i strayed away from the idea and focused more on the 1.14 village update. I brought up a new animal, the falcon.

You forgot "neither" as an option. "neither" is always an option.
My suggestions: Enhancements - Throwable Fire Charges - On Phantoms and Elytra. Also check out The Minecraftian Language. This signature is not here to waste your space.

Hawk please. No eagle
