Hello, I think there's a lack of bosses in minecraft, and I have an idea; Why don't you create a pumpkin boss? let me explain:
Pumpkins are pretty easy to find, and you grow them; so to start I think you could creat a rare Item, it should be difficult to get this item (could be crafted or found) I was tinking something like a bottled soul; well once you get this item you have to summon the pumpkin, how? My idea is to dig two blocks anywhere, then put soul sand in the hole, on the soul sand you put the bottled soul (or the item you may create, and it only must be put on soulsand) then you'll need the pumpkins.
I think there should be three levels of this boss: one boss should be 2x2x2 in size, the next one 3x3x3 and the biggest 4x4x4.
well what I mean is that you have soulsand, on the soulsand there's a bottled soul, on the bottled soul you have to put pumpkins (with face) making a cube; first it shoul be 2x2x2, then this 8 pumpnkins in cube turn into one bigger pumpkin, and there should be an 80% of probavilities that it gets alive and it should attack you, but if it does not move, you shoul add more pumpkins, making it 3x3x3, again, it should turn into one big pumpkin, and again there's an 80% of probavilities that this big pumpkin gets alive and it should attack you, it should be stronger and it has to have more skills than the 2x2x2; but if it doesn't get alive, you should make it 4x4x4 and there's 100% of probavilities that it turns into a real monster, he must attack from distance and he must grab you with his lianas.
each time you put the pumpkins, if it gets alive, the soul is consumed, and the bigger it is, the stronger it should get, and when you kill it, the prize should be higher if it's big.
some more ideas: iron golems don't attack it; if you started summoning the boss and you try to break the pumkins before it gets alive, you lose the bottled soul; all the pumpkin faces shoud face the same direction while summoning; if you try to summon using pistons, it won't work; the prize with the 4x4x4 boss could be an enchanted pumpkin suit xD; finally if you try tu summon direcctly the 3x3x3 or the 4x4x4 boss, it won't work and you'll lose the bottled soul cause you'll have to break the extra pumpkins you put.
what no pumpkins already make two mobs. the iron golem and the snow golem. While wither skull are "evil", pumpkins are grown in the overworld and therefor "passive"
Not too crazy about the pumpkin boss per se, but an interesting idea for a stepped difficulty summonable mob mechanic…
[Just beacuse of symmetry, I'd see 1/3/5 cubes (rather than the 2/3/4 sequence proposed as preferrable).
These would require 1/27/125 blocks to create (minus one in each case if the 'heart item' occupied the center instead of a block).]
As a side note, running the text through a spelling and grammer checker (and/or 'manually' proofing it) would make the post easier to read and the ideas easier to understand. [Assuming it's spelled correctly, "lianas" is a class of plant, in this context I'm guessing it means 'roots' or 'vines', neither of which part of the mob is detailed. (Neither carved pumpkins, nor JoLs, generate a stalk when placed.) ]

WARNING: I have an extemely "grindy" playstyle; YMMV — if this doesn't seem fun to you, mine what you can from it & bin the rest.
I have to apologize because of my grammar mistakes, English is not my first language; so I'm sorry.
And I really apreciate your ideas. I was thinking about symetry too, but a cube monster with five side blocks ... Wouldn't it be so big? But if they think it's ok ... Nice!
Yeap, what I meant with lianas was vines, thank you for your help!

well bye

You're right, and that's why we would use a bottled soul, it could make them evil
You're missing the point. The boss is a pumpkin boss, not a bottled soul boss.

Thanks you for your advice, and for your comment.
