Hello there! Sorry if this topic has already been raised, but I could not find it.
The idea is simple. Imagine you have a partially explored map (e.g. on max zoom) of some region A. Then you went again to that region, but forgot that explorer map and crafted a new one (and made it with the same zoom for simplicity). You explored some territory in that region and returned back home.
What I want to do is ability to merge this two "separate" maps of the same region and zoom to have the explored area on both maps.
In terms of crafting recipes this could be made such way: you put two separate maps of the same region and zoom into crafting slots, and as a result you get 2 copies of new map which has explored area from those maps merged.
The requirement for the same zoom is questionable: it also could be usefull to merge two maps of different zoom, when "smaller" map is inside the "bigger" one's region. Though this might be a bit more difficult to implement I suppose.
Also sorry if this is already possible in vailla - I could not figure out how to do it and wiki says nothing about it.
