I have had big ideas before but don't have the coding skills to make them and they be nice to have in base Minecraft, This one Is Solar Eclipses, It would be an event That Would Happen randomly or idk, start in the morning after a full moon or something.It would turn dark as if it were night and Frankenstein's
Monsters would be a new mob that would come out, they would have a tall head like a villager (without nose) be tan-ish-green and they would rarely drop head pins and ultra rare drop lightning rod and then they would also drop Redstone and iron ingots and rotten flesh. Fish Monsters would spawn near the water.
Good idea, I would choose both, Solar sounds cool but will be more rare, Lunar would be more often but not as cool as a Solar. Frankenstein monster just seems over the top.
Needs far more detail as to frequency and duration as well as a more 'crunchy' (ie numbers and stats) description of the new mob[s?] (at present it is unclear whether this appears during only solar eclipses or both). [Also unclear if there are one or two new mobs being proposed.]
Random eclipses (essentailly short random extra nights) would just be annoying.
Tying the advent of eclipses to having killed at leat one wither seems odd and would make the event (comparatively) late game, but there should still be rhyme and reason to the occurances.
Neither the effects of partial eclipses…
Nor the effects of the penumbra periods of the total eclipses are mentioned.

It could only happen after you beat the wither.
