Nice to balance out the more pressure plate variants with more button types. The redstone concepts are pretty unique as well (though I don't understand redstone all that well)
Supporting.

Gold buttons send only a 2 block signal with your hand but they do a 1 block signal for each arrow in them.
I think this would need to be limited to 15 to match the maximum RedStone signal strength otherwise possible….
quote=Ethany525
Iron buttons activate for 5-10 seconds but the more times they are hit the further the signal expands (5 blocks each hit)
This is 4-8 times longer than a wooden button and 5-10 times longer than stone.
Note that "A wooden button activated by a fired arrow will remain active until the arrow despawns after one minute or is picked up." [q.v. Button] so this could be a useful intermediate range.
How is the activation time selected? Random, if so in what sized intervals? If not random, then how?
Does the signal strength change if one presses the button multiple times? (and does this reset or otherwise change the activation time?)
…or does "the more times they are hit" refer only to arrows?
I think this would need to be limited to 15 to match the maximum RedStone signal strength otherwise possible….

A few more details needed, but (with the mentioned limitation on signal strength) these could be useful additions….

Don't pretend to be someone you aren't. Be yourself. Even if you try to be someone else ill knows its you. Your a terrible actor.
Ok I've left many bad suggestions before but I had this great idea: Gold and Iron buttons! This is how they will work:
Gold buttons send only a 2 block signal with your hand but they do a 1 block signal for each arrow in them. Perfect for minigames
Iron buttons activate for 5-10 seconds but the more times they are hit the further the signal expands (5 blocks each hit)
Hope you like my idea I really think that if Jeb saw this he would make it right away :

These would be really useful and add consistency to game (i.e. Before you could only make iron/gold pressure plates, but not iron/gold buttons).

Check out my suggestions! Here is one of them:

Well, if you want Jeb to see it, why don't you post the idea on his twitter page?
I am strange. Deal with it.
