Anyone tired of their lever systems getting backwards if there's more than 1 connected? Wouldn't it be a lot better if you could put in an input to make them switch so that you can always have up meaning one thing and down meaning another?

You can have both inputs and outputs on redstone torches, why not for levers?

That actually could work nicely. Have levers come in two states, up/north/east state = on, down/south/west state = off.

Slight bump here, since I think this would be a fairly quick thing to add and would be infinitely rewarding.

I honestly don't see how this isn't getting more support. I mean, what could possibly be BAD about it? And, honestly, there is so much good that could come out of it that... that... I don't even know. Insert comparison to something good here.

Some people (like me) don't say + 1 support, and also some people sometimes see a good idea, and leave it alone, sinc they have nothing to add, and could you please describe how would the input work?
it might mess up the redstone system from the way I'm imagining it
