All these Terracotta additions are crazy, but you know what would be crazier? If there was a way to make the textures animated scrolling. I would do this by animating if powered.
Imagine you are building a redstone machine, you want to indicate power being sent from the lever to a light. Place the redstone on purple terracotta and the arrows will flow in the direction they are facing.
We could really make some psychedelic imagines dude. It'll be like whoa!!
I would say this is a good idea, although I can ever only see myself using this with the arrow terracotta blocks. I'm just not sure how well that would look on the terracotta blocks that are more like floor tiling in nature. I mostly support this though considering there are two states of the texture that are possible to be used. The only issue I possibly see with this (although this has been an issue in minecraft for years) is not wanting the block to animate itself in an area where redstone is present, mainly in the case of budding.

yeah great idea
(in my head that felt like it could have taken a REALLY sarcastic turn...)
So it would basically be like dragon heads with how they animate when powered?
I think Minecraft could do with some more animated blocks and this would be a pretty nice way of implementing it!
10/10 arrows on the support scale!

I'm also quite nerdy with an interest in game developing and the concept of a fourth spatial dimension.
All hail chickens.
Wow. This will change builds for ever. Although, I'm not sure about the lag part, so I'll leave someone else to pick on that.

This shouldn't affect lag... it's just changing the texture to a .gif file.

Mostly support.
Thanks, not too much of a technical player.
