This suggestion is just a few ideas relating to books and paper.I have 2 suggestions 1 is a major idea while the other is minor.
====1. Adventure Logs.====
The idea of a adventure log is that you can write in it to record certaint things.(It really just depends on what you want to put in it.)Think sorta like many signs together.
----1.1 INK!----
To write in a book you need something to write with. First you need to make a bowl of ink by doing this basic crafting recipie.
This would have 16 uses before it's gone.
The ink bowl would have to be crafted with a feather above it like this.
This would subtract 1 use from the Ink bowl and the inked feather would write 0.5 signs worth of text. After the inked feather was used up it would turn back to a regular feather.
----1.2 The book----
You could craft an adventure log like this.
The adventure log would have 25 pages,each page could hold 2 signs worth of text.
====2. Placing down books and paper====
This is what it says on the tin. The ability to place books and paper on the top of a block would be an interesting decoration option. It could also be how you read the adventure log.
