Mindless does not apply here, it is an extemely well thought out suggestion that is anything but mindless. And did you read the thread? The point is to add something to mesas and you would gets challenge and a new drop from it.
I admit, it is a good idea! However, another dungeon would only make other generated structures be overlooked. And, the Mesa biome is pretty rare, and a temple in a Mesa biome is even rarer. Finally, it isn't important enough. Another dungeon? What good will it do to Minecraft in the long run? Much more important things need to be added before this.

You say other dungeons will be overlooked, then go on to say that this dungeon would be too rare, that's kind of contradictory because if this one is too rare then inoodle most likely be finding the other dungeons first. And what do you consider an important thing?

Well, if this was added, it sounds cool, so even at the thought of it being in a players world will excite them, and make other temples/dungeons/mineshafts/etc. look boring. And honestly, a important thing is something like adding a new biome, instead of working on a biome that has already grabbed players' attentions. This results in a biome being left behind. Kind of like what happened to PE.

UUUhhmmmm, ok? I really do not see what you are getting at, but maybe you could try explaining it to me again?
This would be a perfectly good addition to the game, but should be implemented as a mod rather than pushing it as an addition to vanilla. Especially since you apparently have all the models done already, making it as a mod means you don't have to wait on Mojang (which is quite conservative about major additions like this).
I'd suggest more explicit reference to the "fungus farms" -- the garbage/farm room could have mushrooms and mushroom blocks, ants can also drop mushrooms, etc. You might even give them their own fungus type, perhaps one that's dangerous to the player. (Damages or statuses them on contact, etc.)
You might also try working eggs and larvae in there somehow.
I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.

Still, thanks for the support!
Drat. Of course, if they were too old, you'd probably have to rework them for modern versions anyway.
As far as the resin, that can go both ways. If it's something they're purposely putting down, they might well defend themselves... unless it's meant as a defense against other ants, in which case they'd pick something that does affect ants, and just remember where their traps are. If it's instead produced as a resource, they might well avoid stepping in their food/building material/etc even if they can defend against it. If you really want to be crafty, you could make the ants immune only to resin from their hive (identified either by its spawn data or by the Queen), but not to resin in a hive they're invading or to resin brought in by a player.
Another thing ants are known for is producing acid, used in their jaws or even spit at an opponent. But that might make them too nasty, especially if you're differentiating acid damage by damaging the armor or somesuch.

This might be one of the best developed suggestions i've ever seen
And i definitively support it!
It reminds me a lot of the Antlions of the Terraria desert which i love (but oh men how i got scared when i first saw the fully grown (winged) antlion!)

Psst!, If I have grammar or spelling errors, correct me. You will help improve my English.

I don't think it's so much the textures are old as that he no longer has them. They're still beautiful, and nothing needs to be changed/updated about them
Here are my attempts at recovering the textures via, well...ripping techniques (see attached)
Textures: what was it? Amber? blocks... the top section was resized nearest neighbor, the bottom best quality. I used the large banner image. This is the best I can do, since the preview image had them stretched to 32x32. The preview screenshot might be viable, but it's too tedious, and subject to the camera perspective and lighting, which would harm any attempts at a texture rip from it.
Ant,SoliderAnt,QueenAnt: These are all attempts using the renders to re-create the textures from scratch in an MC-compatible layout. I'm pretty sure there's MULTIPLE errors with them. A lot of proportions just don't seem right at all (particularly on the queen)... Hope these are some use?
I will probably revise these at least slightly, or I may never touch them again. It took me hours to try and re-make these... If I could solidly nail the proportions, I can re-create the model's boxes, or at least document them.
HardResin: I ripped this from the test screenshot, it's probably wrong, but I couldn't find any other places to get it from.
I was unable to get the resin block. I can tell as much it's a slime edit, but I just can't nail the color down.
I skipped the two item textures, as those are still available in the OP.
I would greatly prefer no complaints about quality or <insert reason here> , this is the best I can possibly do, since the original files are presumed lost, and I only did this to recover/preserve that which can be recovered/preserved.
I also have a guide that shows where the various parts are, but attachment limit. Sorry...
Just a reminder, people. This forum section is for presenting and discussing ideas for vanilla Minecraft. Mod discussions aren't allowed here and should be moved to the Mods forum section.

If you like threads about mobs, then my threads are mainly about that: http://www.minecraftforum.net/members/AGmantheAG/threads

Rule Number One about that kind of stuff:
ALWAYS back the files up.
I can say from experience every time I've failed to do this, I've lost gigabytes of completely unrecoverable files...
If it comes-down to it, email yourself stuff as attachments. I've done this a lot.
Sorry to hear this has happened, but consider it a lesson to NEVER forget to back things up when you can.
Even so, I have an idea...
I GTG atm, tho... expected to do stuff around the house...
