This Mythic tree is certainly interesting. The idea of a mob that protects its own tree is quite unique. However, it should not have a drop and only be an obstacle to the player. Another thing: This tree doesn't really fit in a jungle biome. Maybe a new Mythic biome could be crerated, or even--and this is indeed a stretch--the tree could generate in the End.
I think the mythic treeman should spawn naturally and still go aggressive when he sees you mining into the tree. I'm not sure about it spawning while your cutting a tree. Also the tree seems a bit fantasy compared to the other partially realistic trees in the game. Creative idea however. Minimal support.

Trees.
Trees.
Last time I checked dragons, glowing swords with special abilities, potions, and resurrection were not trees.
EDIT: If an entirely new mythic biome was made that is an idea I can potentially support, but there would need to be more than a type of tree for that.

Well, okay, but that doesn't mean a new mythical, fantasy, tree can't be added, right? After all, we have mythical food, mythical mobs, mythical biomes, mythical structures, and the list goes on. Why not a tree?
Looking at the possible enchantments, I think some of these aren't that sensible. Respiration, Fire Protection, and Feather Falling on a stick is a little strange. You could add Fire Aspect and Knockback, however.

My logic is that the variation of trees is mostly realistic and it would be odd to have one rare magical tree. If we had a couple or it had its own biome/dimension, sure that makes sense. But on the subject of these examples imagine they added a new ore called magikite or something, it wouldn't really fit. The game has its fantasy elements but the ores mostly seem partially realistic. At the very least a jungle biome is a bit off place. I still think its a creative idea though.
Ok. I will be working on the biome for this tree but its gonna take me a while like I said. Until then however, I am more focused
on this particular part. Besides, adding a biome right now would make this a wish list wouldn't it?
On the tree though is there any other characteristics that you don't agree with? Maybe something I forgot?
I personally would rather the treeman spawn naturally and I feel the tree may fit better in the end. At the same time it could also be incorporated in a regular forest. I think it would be good to have an inner pink log [and pink planks] and an outer color of whatever, like acacia.
It is definitely creative, although it is somewhat unnecessary. It seems like a lot of trouble is went through to get an enchanted mythic stick, so why not just get a sword? It seems much easier. How much damage does the Mythic stick do to make this worth it? A suggestion would be to make 1-2 more new enchantments for specifically the Mythic stick, to make it have more value, as it seems it is much harder to achieve.
Crafting this stick isn't logical either. 2 wooden planks of any wood type should yield a normal stick. Having mythic planks as a newbie to Minecraft might make you very confused as you cannot do anything with them that is beneficial to advancing in the game properly.
The colored fences, doors, etc. also seems a bit far-fetched. Why can't they just be pink? It would be much more logical.
Until this thread makes more sense, I can't support it. However, if you were you to give this its own biome/dimension, this would be an entirely different reply.
I'm all for new wood that doesn't look like it's got too much fake tan (I'm looking at you, acacia) and I really like the idea of mobs which specifically protect one structure. However I'm not sure about the difficulty just to get the mythic sticks. Maybe make it slightly more worthwhile to find by giving the mobs some specific drops and making the mythic fruit a bit more common.
Also, the enchantments on the mythic sticks won't so much. With Sharpness V, that stick would only do as much damage as a stone sword. It just doesn't seem worth it; fighting through all those mythic treemen (because lets face it, there would be a lot of them) and getting all those levels to get what is essentially a stone sword with a bit of extra durability.
Also 2x rarer than 2x2 jungle trees is pretty common, especially for such a big tree.
That's a lot of criticism on uniqueness. I really don't want to touch on any additional enchantments because this is
already borderline wishlist. However, adding in something "more useful" for mythic sticks does have it's potential.
I had previously thought that a projected flame might be nice from a flame enchantment but given uniqueness seems
to fall on deaf ears here, perhaps I might just discontinue making suggestions until I can create mods to accompany
them so that everyone can see and feel how they would work.
You all have been very kind to me and my ideas, I just want to give my best to get your best
Don't worry about me, I REALLY enjoy this suggestion for its uniqueness. And I don't think adding a biome for this tree would be a wishlist, since it's still all about the tree.
Just one nitpick: if the tree is going to spawn in jungles, make it at least as rare as a Jungle Temple. 2x2 jungle trees are everywhere in the jungle, and being rarer would make finding it a special experience. (or of course just make the new biome.) Other than that, it's a unique and generally cool suggestion. Support.
I was thinking. If the Mythic Tree generated in the End, along with the new dungeons and plants being added in 1.9, it would have to stick with the dark purple and beige theme. The wood should have a purple bark with a light tan in the center, and the leaves could either be a purple-black color or a bright lavender.
The Mythic Tree
Spawns only in jungle biomes and spawns 2x as rare as 2x2 jungle trees.
It can range between 20-40 blocks tall and 10 to 20 blocks wide at the roof which occurs between 14 to 40 blocks high.
the trunk is 2x2 blocks wide
Mythic tree wood is pink.
Mythic tree leaves are red and gold
There is a 1/40 chance that any mythic tree leaf block will drop mythic fruit.
Mythic fruit is edible but does not restore hunger, instead it increases saturation twice as much as steak.
Mythic treemen are 1.8 block tall creatures that resemble a tree, they have skin that looks like bark and green, leafy hair
with long twigs for legs and arms.
They spawn about as frequent as zombie pigmen
They are neutral until the player continues to mine the mythic tree at that point they become aggressive.
Mythic treemen have 10 health and deal 2 damage, their attacks inflict knockback II. After knocking the player away
they become neutral again until the player begins mining the tree again.
Upon death they drop 0-2 experience orbs and 1 mythic sapling.
Mythic saplings take 4x longer than normal trees to grow and will only grow in jungle biomes.
CRAFTS:
Mythic wooden planks- crafted with 1 mythic wood. yields 4
These blocks are a bright pink
Mythic sticks- crafted from 2 mythic wooden planks. yields 4
Mythic sticks can be enchanted in survival. An additional enchantment called Wear is given with the first enchantment which
gives the mythic stick a durability of 200. They cannot be repaired.
Mythic sticks are hot pink until enchanted, they take on the enchanted glow and become dark brown with a white tip
The enchantments compatable with mythic sticks include:
1. Sharpness (any level)
2. Smite (any level)
3. Bane of anthropods (any level)
4. Unbreaking (any level)
5. Fire Aspect (any level)
6. Knockback (any level)
Mythic Fence- crafted from 4 mythic wooden planks and 2 mythic sticks. This fence is a psychodelic combination of
bright pink, red and yellow. yields 3
Mythic fence gate- crafted from 2 mythic wooden planks and 4 mmythic sticks. This fence gate is tie-dye combination
of Neon pink, green and gold.
Mythic Door- crafted from 6 mythic wooden planks. This solid door is rainbow colored. yields 3.

I have no issue with creating a new biome, it will just take me some time to research it properly and to find a method of
presentation that isn't hated seeing how most biome suggestions attract A LOT of No support. Also the mob spawning naturally
can be added, I just like to test for denials of uniqueness.
Also the tree spawning in the End is a potential. It seems it
might fit better there. I am going to poll this and by say 6 to 7 am eastern time I will update accordingly. That is of course I
see a flood towards either side or if it ends up a landslide victory. I'll say 5 vote lead.

One of these days I'm gonna find that kink in the chain lol. Alright, consider it added/removed respectively

This statement is invalid and you do not get the point.
Mojang never said that they won't be adding any new trees. Heck, they never said food. (chorus fruit).
On Topic: I really like this idea, doesn't have any flaws at all. I'm all into new, original trees and stuff.
Support.
