Interesting ore, it provides some neat use and some aesthetics. But the paint is quite redundant with the existence of dyes. Much more easier and cheap to obtain than paint. Hues can also be altered through using a colour and mixing it with black. Overall, it has interesting uses.
I still don't support the idea of paint, because it would also require a combination of the hues onto each variant of block that exists in Minecraft. That's a lot of work, and there is a reason why a selective number of blocks with different colours exist as a replacement. Stained Glass, Stained Clay, armour, banners, etc.
I support this, but the orange torch seems fairly useless since torches are already orange. And the paint seems really cool, but it might require lots of work to code, and seeing as they adding dyes and stained glass and all that instead of simply adding paint, it seems like they won't add it.
has a frequent spawn rate slightly lower than coal, smaller 6 to 8 diposits happen worldwide while larger 8 to 10 ore veins
occur in mountains and under large amounts of sand or gravel like a desert but not the 1 layer of gravel that occurs in
villages. Interesting...
It can be mined with a stone pickaxe or better.
Calcium ingots are obtained by smelting calcium ores in a furnace.
Calcium dust can be obtained by a crafting bench which yields 9 calcium dust per ore. I don't know what the crafting recipe is?
Crafting:
3 Calcium dust + 1 bottle of water= calcade, a drink that will slightly increase recovery rate. This is a tick effect and lasts 15 seconds. That's kinda unnecessary since we have regeneration potion!
3 calcium dust + 1 redstone dust= plaster redstone. plaster redstone cannot be washed away by water and can be placed vertically
a maximum of 5 blocks. I like where you're going with that one!
1 calcium dust + 1 rocket= Orange star firework
calcium dust can also be added to other fireworks which will result in a deeper color. Nice!
8 calcium dust + 1 potatoe= Fortified potatoe. This restores 4 hunger sticks and provides 1/4 more saturation than steak. That's unnecessary since we have like three types of potatoes!
9 Calcium ingots= Calcium block. A bright orange block with sharp thin vertical lines on all sides Self explanatory!
1 calcium ingot + 1 torch= Orange torch. Strictly for aesthetic purposes this torch offers a deep orange glow. Ok, that's unnecessary unless you're adding every torch color!
1 calcium ingot + 1 empty bucket= 1 bucket of paint. Originally a soft orange, other dyes can be added to make
a deeper hue. A bucket of paint can be used to paint up to 6 blocks, half slabs or stairs by simply left clicking
the block desired to be painted. Actually that's kinda cool but we have enough stained blocks!
Paint is not a permanent dye. A block that is currently painted may be repaint any color. If you wish to remove
a paint entirely simply mine the painted block which will yield the original block.
1 calcium ingot= 1 calcium plate. calcium plates work opposite of gold plates. The more items on the plate the less signal
strength is provided. calcium plates must be mined with a stone pickaxe or better to be successfully removed. Sounds useful for adventure maps!
I think what he's saying is that every time that you regenerate naturally, you get1 heart instead of half. And also that would make 4 potato types (raw, baked, poisons, and this one)

I think that this is a good suggestion overall, but the Fortified Potato is a little OP. The paint would keep the texture of the block beneath it, correct? I've always wanted a red painted wood barn... Support. Grammar is a little lacking, though...

Yes the texture underneath would be kept. However since there are many who have voiced dislike and concern

Yes, this is not a potion and only lasts 15 seconds restoring 1 heart per tick instead of the normal regeneration rate.

Ok, didn't think that it would be that difficult. Wasn't thinking of how much coding that would actually take.

Calcium ore
Spawns between 40 and 70 y
occurs in veins of 6 to 10
has a frequent spawn rate slightly lower than coal, smaller 6 to 8 diposits happen worldwide while larger 8 to 10 ore veins
occur in mountains and under large amounts of sand or gravel like a desert but not the 1 layer of gravel that occurs in
villages.

Calcium ingots are obtained by smelting calcium ores in a furnace.
Calcium dust can be obtained by a crafting bench which yields 9 calcium dust per ore.
placing 1 calcium ore (not ingot) in the crafting table will in turn give 9 calcium dust
Crafting:
3 Calcium dust + 1 bottle of water= calcade, a drink that will slightly increase recovery rate. This is a tick effect and lasts 15 seconds.

Partial support.
The paint idea is more for blocks that aren't currently nor planned to be dyeable like stone varients and sand varients.
Also, it offers colors like a deep yellow, green, blue, red, purple and brown.. That said, a painted material could be
repainted in the future, perhaps if the block were destroyed it would return to it's natural color allowing for more
customizable options.
I reworked the ingredients for the paint bucket and gave it 6 uses, added repaintable feature, added paint removeability
via mining.
Thank you for partial support.

I don't think that the paint part would be to hard, considering that all you need are a few damage values, a color variable and 1-3 hours of work
