Hello, I would like to propose a suggestion for Minecraft.
I have played this game for a very long time, and one of my biggest problems with the game right now, may it be a small one, is the fact that once a player has finished breaking all of the logs of a tree, they have to wait for the leaves to decay or break them manually, both which can be considered tedious and unnecessary tasks.
I think that leaves should break after the player has broken all of the logs in the tree. This would be a faster, more realistic approach to tree-chopping, and it wouldn't require a hefty amount of work for the developers.
After the leaves break, they would, of course, drops apples and/or saplings.
I'm in support of this as well. It's not like in real life, after cutting down a tree, the leaves just float in mid-air. Another reason being that ever since I got the game ~5 years ago, it's been probably the most annoying thing I've ever had to do.
The idea makes sense and all, but leaf blocks don't vanish like that because they're constantly "checking" if another log block is nearby. I'd also prefer the leaves the float around for a bit rather than just blink out, so it doesn't easily shower you with saplings and possibly apples.
If this was added, I'd go with it, but I don't see this as "needed" either.

Bashing leaf blocks are that big of a deal for you?

Yeah, that guy in the avatar is me. I'm *that* strange. It happens. Sometimes people act like that. Just go with it. I can offer help with suggestions even before you post them - NOT make your suggestions - but help you with them.
It's not a feature not really needed and wouldn't be consider it as tedious since anyone can ignore it. But it would be interesting to see since it aggravates one's mind when just seeing flying leaves not dissapearing, and this is also a large problem with large spawning trees.
Congrats! You used a response that's both invalid and not allowed here!

This suggestion isn't bad. The biggest problem is the overpowered tree farms that would be made, to a point where getting these resources would take a ridiculously short amount of time. There would have to be something else on the other side to balance it out.

So, they would all break instantaneously? Good idea.
Support.
SURPRISE!!!!
Oh great, now I have to get a new computer.
So basically, decay would be almost instantaneous? I like it, and don't see much reason it shouldn't be there. It has my support.

Partial support.
Nah, I was just stating that it was a pretty annoying thing to do.
