I do support ocean mobs, and I support everyone's suggestion.
Question: is this supposed to be like a small suggestions topic for ocean life? Well that means that I should mention Seahorrors. A mob that I thought about a couple moths ago. Thread is here and comment on it what you think.

I really like this idea. I always wanted to have real fish in the water except for guardians and squids. Here is a little idea: maybe you should have minnos in the water (for decoration). But you couldn't just simply have your little farm full of minnos, but you would have to have a 10X10 block radius as water blocks for minnos to appear (they would not be mobs). Just an idea.

Instead of a Shark just being a moving entity, it could possibly attack players when they enter the water or something like that. I was thinking that instead of just making them do nothing, it could be something that actually effects the gameplay.
Moving entity is another word for mob. That doesn't mean they would "do nothing".
I support this suggestion, but you should probably be more specific. What kind of sea creatures do you want in Minecraft? What are their drops? Are they hostile or passive? That's why there are people saying things like "no support, too vague".
I agree that the oceans are wayyy too boring. But I don't think that the mobs would have to be "original", because look at other mobs in Minecraft, like the cow, pig, rabbit, sheep, chicken etc. Those aren't original and are based off real live animals. I think it would be perfectly okay to add fish, sharks, or coral reefs. Maybe even whales.
Thats a great idea!!!!
I'm Waiting for the title of "Emerald Miner" then I'll keep it!
