I was once searching around on the Minecraft Wiki when I read that Skeletons used to shoot purple arrows, but this was removed, although the texture for them can still be found in the assets. So I thought that these arrows should be brought back, but Skeletons wouldn't shoot them. Instead, arrows shot from a bow enchanted with Infinity would be purple to tell the difference between real, collectible arrows and fake "Infinity arrows".

So skeletons would shoot normal arrows 90% of the time, but they also will shoot the purple arrows too 10% of the time.
The purple arrows would inflict nausea for 10 seconds, and poison for 5 seconds.
If a wither skeleton has a bow, it would be changed from poison to wither III. Also, it would be purple 90% and normal 10%
Just my idea for it, you can use it, but put @Genlems5Ever if you use it. (With link)

I like the idea, but instead of regular skeletons shooting these arrows, only certain skeletons will shoot them 50% of the time, like how some Zombies are Zombie Leaders and can break doors more easily. Also, the arrows should not give nausea.
I'm not sure why this is needed; if you have Infinity on your bow you aren't going to be running around picking up arrows you fired, and I don't think many people use an Infinity bow and regular bow at the same time (if the regular bow has, say Power V, why not just combine them).

What about on multiplayer? One guy has an infinity bow, another has a regular, the regular guy tries to pick up his arrows, but can't figure out which is his.

Plus they can't be picked up, so that would be a good idea.
