They're probably against the invinci-tools because it would make the game easy. So far, the golden law of minecraft is: everything is expendable. Everything. Except adminium.
Also, to be honest, last time I died in minecraft was way before Christmas. I do videos of cave explorations, on hard, and I'm still waiting to die :S

Yeah... I hear yah. The thing is though, these minerals are so rare, you'd have to be on a constant search to find enough to make the items. So the items are a challenge just to make.

Then simply rebalance it. appear a bit more, but make it not indestructible. Honestly, it would make the nether worth it. Mushrooms are an extra, as the other block.
and it wasnt a random question. it has somthing to do with hell.
You mean the Nether? I suppose so, but what has it to do with my thread... about my ideas for an update.
get to getting me ip plz i want to kill ghasts and zombie now with my freinds. sorry if this is annoying ):
I'm sorry man, but I just don't really know how to help you. Go to the support section in the forum. Someone with more experience on server ips should be able to help you, whatever you're having issues with.

You're very convincing. But before I make any changes... I'll be starting a new poll. I want to see what everyone else thinks. In fact I'll change it now. We'll do the current poll later.
Like all of these things! The portal pairs would have to be colour coded though, limiting the number of portals possible. Maybe a central portal hub on each world would make a big network possible?
Hmm... color coded portals? Interesting. That's a unique way to think of it. Like the portal itself is the same color as the other portal its connected to? That way you can only travel one way through a pair of portals? If that's what you're thinking, keep in mind that my original concept was that you could teleport from one mini-portal to any other mini-portal in the dimension your in, making it more that just tunnel travel. You choose where to go, based upon how many options you have.
What do you mean by central portal hub? If I understand you correctly, you could just use Nether portals to do this... being that they're the connection between both worlds. You could have a Mini-Portal next to your Nether portal... that way if you wanted to travel fast you could jump from portal to portal in the overworld to a Nether portal, and then after the dimension jump through the Nether portal, pass from portal to portal in the Nether.
Like the suggestion. The Nether needs more minerals and items to make it worthwhile to mine there. The ideas are original.

~ I've thought about the phrase 'Money is the root of all evil' and I have to disagree. Evil isn't dependant on an object. I say that want is the root of all evil.
*I think the mini-portals should only work in the Nether, allowing you to fast-travel a fast-travel zone! that way it still gives the effectiveness of Nether portals with out having to trek across Ghast territory to go between them.
*I think mini portals should be constructed (not on a crafting table) but like smaller versions of Nether portals, using Charoite as the portal material.

Then, you could fill the inside with a dyed wool, and when you light it (with flint and steel) it makes a mini-portal of that color. The next mini-portal of that color you make will pair with it, and you can then move between them instantly. If you make a third of the same color, the first one will shut off, with the remaining two pairing.
*Separately, you could have it so mini-portals randomly send you around all other ones, so if you make too many you will just make it harder on yourself!
*I think the Nethershroom should not poison you, but not be an epic heal either. It could still work as it's own Nethershroom Soup however, just not op.
*I also think the Nethershroom should randomly change color every time it receives a redstone current, so you could make Christmas-tree-like neon lights!
*I think the carbon block should just be a coal slab like in the 2x2 thread.

I once saw a chicken push a creeper off of a cliff. I never looked at chickens the same way ever again. That is of course until I needed feathers.
They're all good. The only problem is that a lot of these ideas conflict with my understanding, mentally, on how the gameplay would work. There needs to be originality, but also uniformity with the way the game works already. So, in order for me to judge, fairly, which ideas are better than others, I need time to think about each one carefully. And I also think the best way for these ideas to become popular is not to focus on scrapping stupid ideas, but to find a way where everyone can meet at some common ground. We should collaberate all our ideas into something we all like... and that's what will make them successful.
You all have fantastic ideas, keep concepting. :smile.gif:
The ONLY thing I like from this thread are the fluorescent mushrooms. Not the crafting recipes for them, but the mushrooms themselves.
I don't like the idea of a new mineral that is just another tier.
I don't like the idea of a new mineral that is just a smaller portal.
Those "additions" don't expand the definition of the Nether, they just take things from the Overworld and plop them in the nether. (there are no Ores in the suggested Aether)
ok :biggrin.gif: when i get there im going to kill some pigs.

Vote and read the revised suggestion. I will be needing constant feedback, so feel free to comment!
