Ideas like this are so old it's not even funny. If Mojang could implement this into the game they would have done so already. The problem is the current game engine does not support colored lighting. If you know nothing about programming than please don't assume that it would be easy.
Yes, just look at SEUS. That adds dynamic shadows, motion blur, glare, even realistic water reflections. The coloured light would just be another effect they can applie when rendering.

this is cool man. adding the lighting engine in the shaders will work for this. Maybe the same thing should happen to redstone lamp too. this will help making DJ's Legit.
What about dynamic lighting ? Would that be possible ? And most shaders are lag inducing ... And 1.8 is painful enough when it comes to lag , how will cope ? (The Far Future Update seems promising , and I love that name)
They don't have to cause lag if done correctly and efficiently. Mojang actually mentioned that it's possible we could see an improvement in performance after they switch to shaders. Although I would attribute that more to the removal of GL based stuff.
The dynamic lighting I'd imagine would cause a lot of lag though. I don't think that's something that would be added.

They might have shaders as an option.
If you want to use shaders = use shaders. If you dont want to use shaders = don't use shaders.
There shouldnt be an issue if its runned by default, and could be disabled if you just want the classic minecraft experience.

But my question was : Could dynamic lighting be caused by shaders ? I mean either direct dynamic lighting (as if you placed the block where you're standing) or the illusion of dynamic lighting ? (As in : you can see as if it was)
Yes, they could probably do it but, like I said, it could cause lag.

I think you may be misunderstanding. The idea is that the game will only use shaders. But it would look virtually identical to how it looks now except that it might run a little smoother.
