For those who can't see pictures, or don't quite get something:
Rafflesias are the world's largest flower. In minecraft, they would spawn in swamps, jungles, and roofed forests. They attract zombies to them, but zombies will not swarm the rafflesia. If you like the look of rafflesias, but don't want to attract zombies, crafting a rafflesia flower with a flowerpot will yield one purified rafflesia, which will not attract zombies. In the wild, if you didn't notice a rafflesia, you could suddenly have to fight overwhelming zombies. You could also make a zombie trap. Rafflesias can be crafted into 5 red dye. Rafflesias use a 3d model, unlike all other flowers. They have a 2D item sprite for when they are in your inventory.

A rather interesting idea. I don't care much for the recipe of the Purified Rafflesia, I would prefer it be mixed with something else to purify it, something like Sugar.

I had a few other ideas for recipes too. What if you got the flowerpot back when you crafted it?

Great idea, and the suggested look/model of the flower doesen't looks too off compared to the vanilla theme . Althought as prenup mentioned perhaps an additonal item for the purified Rafflesia would be better , also do you have any idea about the ''range'' that the flower will attract zombies from?
Complete support. A very creative idea, and also one that could have some technical uses as well.
One thing I can recommend is renaming the purified variant to something like Derooted Rafflesia Flower, which could be made either by crafting a normal Rafflesia with a sword (which removes 1 duability point from the sword, and the sword will stay in the crafting table), or by mining the flower with shears while it is not on a vine. This variant will not attract zombies. You could say that it's the root that attracts zombies, so removing the roots it will stop it from attracting them.
Also, you should be able to farm the flower by placing it on vines. This will convert a vine block into a Flowering Vine, and after a short while you can harvest the flower with shears, which will leave the normal vine block it its place and drop 1-3 flowers. Note that the normal vine will never be removed. Not only will this give a much-needed use to vines, but it is now the plant grows in real life, as a parasite that takes over a vine.
They seem more swamp biome and instead of flower pot they should need rotten flesh creating a posion/rotten rafflesia attract slimes and if small slime it gets stuck in posion one it slowly gets hurt until killed zombies are far to common also every night regardless of moon cycle should have a small chance of spawning in normal one and act as culdrens but only fill up during rain must be full to collect and only fill bottle also the don't undye things and when posion one is full it gives posion teir 1
Also make regular ones breakdown be dot-dye making the regular ones dots dyeable with all colors meaning you can make them cool decor or just using them to dye dyed or reg armour with dots
Since this forum editor is so terrible, and doesn't allow me to quote 6 people at the same time, I'm going to be doing this the old way:
@Shady_Vagabond
They do spawn in swamps, as well as jungles, and roofed forests. I'm not sure quite what you mean by the poison rafflesia. Does it replace the purified rafflesia, and attract slimes? The only reason I added the purified one is because some people might want the block, but not lots of zombies. I don't get the thing about zombies and the moon cycle. I was thinking of it being able to be used as a cauldron, but I'm still not sure whether it's a good idea. I think about it.
@ironsloth1993
Thanks for the support, and yes it is the flower that smells like rotten flesh, which is why it attracts zombies.
@ThePhysician2000
Not sure why bats swarming it would be useful. Give me a good reason and I'll add it.
@coolreader18
Not sure quite what you mean by they will eat it, but I don't like the sound of getting infinite rotten flesh so easily.
@Dormentality
I would agree with this first part, but rafflesias are rootless flowers. Although, your second part about picking up the flower with shears was an idea on how to get a purified one, but not on vines.
While it does grow on vines in real life, minecraft's vines aren't quite the right type for a flower so large. I was thinking that a way to farm them would be good on the other hand, but I don't know quite how they should be farmed.
@Kili444
I have a few different ways that a purified rafflesia could be acquired. Bonemeal was one of them. As mentioned elsewhere, picking one up with shears was another. As badprenup mentioned, Sugar isn't actually a bad idea. Or I could just change it so that it returns the flowerpot. Maybe a poll is needed. It would probably attract from the same distance as a cow is attracted to wheat.

Zombies are common via town attacks slimes are rare and can spawn on surface in swamp biomes given a specific moon cycle i had to edit a few times im using xbone on site
Posion rafflesia was just a name i also suggested rotten the posion build up via rain would be a cool way to get posion potion and make since killing trapped small slimes leaving behind slime balls would be great

Still not quite sure what you mean, but here's my best:
Replace the purified rafflesia with a poison rafflesia. The rafflesia would attract slimes, rather than zombies, because zombies are too common. If you go inside a rafflesia, you get poisoned.
Slight problem. This doesn't make zombies more common. It attracts zombies to it.
I like the sound of dying them, but I'm not sure about what others would think. I'll think about it.

Only like baby animals could get trapped and posioned and rotten rafflesia sounds good to you could make it so when zombie health so low if rotten rafflesia is within x distance away and full "has posion via rain" drink to heal x amount of health making zombies more hazardious in swamps with rotten rafflesia

I still don't quite get what you are saying. It's really confusing. I know you said you were using something which meant you had to edit it a few times, or something, but could you say what your idea is a bit more clearly.

Sorry for not editing my browser doesn't auto refresh anyway
The flower could spawn both ways rotten being less common than regular rafflesia but can also be crafted rotton or sheared with silk touch naturally
Ok i'm going to edit this one moment...
rafflesia spawn in two forms regular which would be the common form and rotten
Rotten rafflesia and regular reffesia attract slimes........ slimes can naturally on spawn during specific moon cycles
However small slimes would have a small chance to spawn in a regular one naturally regardless of the moon cycle
Rotten rafflesia would retain posion when it rains.... regular would retain harmless water
Baby animals and small slimes get trapped and die from rotten rafflesia
Rotten rafflesia could be obtained natrally using silk touch shears or by crafting rafflesia with rotten flesh
Dyeing rafflesia results in dyeing its dots
Rafflesia of any dye can be placed or brokendown for dot dye
Also when zombies health is low it could run to a posion filled rotten rafflesia and drink it to heal if the zombie is near one
And rafflesia can only fill up bottles... only one time
If you use an empty bottle on a full rotten rafflesia you get posion teir 1

I like some of your ideas, but I don't think they should attract slimes. In real life, rafflesias smell like rotten flesh, so in minecraft, it makes sense they would attract zombies, and if I start making them attract slimes, they might as well just attract all hostile mobs. While a poisoning flower is a good idea, this isn't a poisonous flower, but there are plenty of them out there that would make a good poisonous flower. I might add the cauldron bit though.

They don't have to attract slimes but trapping/killing baby animals would be cool understand the rotting flesh bit... it'd be cool if they 1 per rafflesia zombies agroed until/unless attacked this could be an easy way to add early protecton for villages if you done it that way i suppose if it had water the zombie could stay alive during day what did you think of the dye idea the plant needs craftable jargen lol
