Health: Will have 40 health and will be able to heal itself
Drops: It will drop 2-4 flowers and 1-2 glistering melons. A rare drop would be a potion of healing.
Appearance: it will look like a witch but will be in a bright red garment and wont have a wart.
Jobs: it's job is to instantly go to villagers that are hurt and go and a unpickupable item in Front of the villager that is hurt and that villager will pick it up and be healed.
Spawning: It will spawn in any size of a village when ever a village is first created.
Other Mobs Interactions: It will not hurt any other mobs and other mobs won't hurt it.

Since they only spawn once zombies shouldn't attack them and also throwing a potion of healing if it hits a zombie it would anger them causing the only healer to die
Though I would like something that heals villagers, a "medic villager" has been suggested many times, and it might better to just heal the villager outright rather than putting something on the ground for the villager to pick up.

I've only seen one other way different post about a medic but it's trades were unbalalnced thats why I chose for it to have no trades and be its own mob. Yeas II do like the priest idea it is very clever
First, I'd say it should pretty rare in villages. Also, I don't think it should have a witch hat. I think it should have something mob specific on it's head, like maybe a hood? I don't know.
So the healer has almost half the health of the ENDER DRAGON? Please clarify this
40 health is 20 hearts. Every "piece" of health is half a heart.
For the idea, for now, no support. I think it should be a pretty rare spawn in villages, like iron golems. I also think it should have its own "hat" thing in stead of a witch hat.
No support, unless it's a type of villager and not something that spawns randomly in the wild. Also these shouldn't be too common in villages, perhaps as rare as Iron Golems.
