BED: Skips time when right clicked. Skips to sunrise or sunset depending on current time at use. Would be useful to skip instead of sitting around doing nothing until the sun rises. (Time skip unavailable in multiplayer but can still be used as decoration.) = Cloth

PALM TREES: Grow only on sand. Drop coconuts.
SNAKES: Drop venom.
DOGS: Very rare. Tame by feeding three porkchops and giving a collar. Follows player and attacks enemies. Heal with porkchops. When tamed, second smaller health-bar appears above player's. Growls when hostile mobs are near by, barks when near caves or dungeons and whimpers when on low health. Slowly loses health when not fed. Name pops up when looking at dog.
DROPS
COCONUTS: Dropped by palm trees. Can be eaten to restore health, or thrown to deal damage.
VENOM: Used to poison weapons for extra damage over time (only lasts one hit).

Yes to all but the bed and the dog I have suggested the dog before and agree that it might be too much to handle if you have to feed it. The bed is a good idea but has recived riticule before because of the way that lots of people go out in the night

Perhaps the dog could have a happiness bar the appears when looking directly at it. Bar would slowly lessen over time until the dog runs away, but happiness can be increased by patting (right click with an empty hand. Would increase happiness a little,) or by feeding (would increase happiness a lot), and then just be fed a porkchop to heal to full health, or health could slowly regenerate over time.
The bed could simply be used as decoration (instead of trying to build super massive beds out of blocks for a house or something), but still give a time skip to those who want it. Sleeping could perhaps also heal the player.

magic: magic can be used to effect mobs. like fire, ice, water, lava and pison.
