As I speak, someone in minecraft probably shoved pork down their throat. Raw pork. Uncooked pork. So why not have a kitchen? (No sexist jokes, ok?) You would craft one like so: ABC
ADA
AAA A=wood, B=crafting table,C=bucket(empty), D=furnace. When opened, it would look like three furnace interfaces and 1 crafting block. Above each furnace-like interface was a word: Cutting, cleaning, cooking. The cooking would work just like a furnace, cleaning would require you to put in a bucket of water(good for ten uses till it becomes dirty and needs to be refilled) in the bottom slot, and cutting would require you to put a knife in the bottom slot(uses depends on type of knife). Using the kitchen would allow for more dishes and would give more hearts then food prepared on a workbench. That way you don't HAVE to have kitchen in order to eat, but it has rewards.
awesome ideas, but honestly i think this game needs for furniture type items anyways, i mean you see people build these huge houses and they have nothing to put in it!

Wooden stairs with a sign on either side makes a chair/couch, depending on how many stairs you put down.

Why does everyone who has more than 700 forum posts think that they are some sort of 'deputy-moderator'?
Why is everyone on the Minecraft Forums so uptight? It's like a dictatorship. Calm down, it's just Minecraft.

well i know but i think it is stupid that there are so little items in the game!
It's been suggested, and it's also been explained why it would be just as simple to just use the crafting table to mix things together, and the furnace to cook the mixture.
