Tables would be crafted with the following recipe:
Where logs are wood planks of any type, sticks are sticks (obviously), and the leaves are empty spots. this recipe would make 4 tables. Table blocks will combine into larger tables if placed in a rectangular configuration relative to each other. Tables can be used as decoration, but have these uses as well:
1: a table can hold up to 1 stack of items on it, preventing it from despawning. You do this by right-clicking the table block with the wanted item. To take it off the table, left-click the item stack.
2: if you place a food item (or cake) on the table, you can then right-click it again to begin eating it. Eating food on a table this way increases saturation provided by 50%.
3: stairs adjacent to a table can be sat on as chairs, and may have a different appearance (maybe).
This is an excellent idea, 8/10. It's essential for a huge game such as Minecraft to have these expansive options that allow the player to customize their home to be cozy. Young players will find it easier to create awesome structures without possessing ungodly amounts of skill. The only reason why Minecraft isn't a nasty indie game in a dumpster is because of shoddy building, after all. Keep up the good work!
