Not a bad idea, but I don't really wanna see dinosaurs in-game. Maybe you could find fossils near bedrock? And you'd know when you were near fossils when you see an abnromal amount of skellies.
I just did.
Besides, it's been proven that T-Rexes weren't actually preadtors. It's believed they were actually scavengers.
That's right. Your bad boy with teeth the size of bananas is nothing more than an oversized vulture.
I just had an idea, what if that realm thingy you mentioned was forested areas, with tall and slim trees like the way some people picture the dinosaur's land to be. The portal should be

and to activate it, you plant a kindling on either one of the dirts, and it immediately turns into a gigantic tree where you can't see the top, with vines going up the tree. You climb up the vines and there is a hole near the middle, and when you walk through it you go into the legendary land where dinosaurs rule supreme!
I love the ancient idea.I suggest cavemen they wander around clueless if they die they drop wooden clubs,or a leopard tunic(rare).they would be attacked by evil mobs(rarely). They spawn in caves or in random villages.and I have another idea i will show later
For the iganasau-icantevenpronounce it... you can't give it no jump. They'll end up always getting stuck at the bottom of a tiny little indent in the world (like a ditch). Other than that, I really like this. There would just have to be a reason to go into the dinosaur realm (you go to the nether for lightstone). Will there be more diamonds in the dinosaur realm, especially considering it's really dangerous? (sorry if this was already suggested.)
You should also make the diamonds spawn at the exact bottom still, but the bedrock should be relatively high (like only 5 blocks below the surface) that way it will be hard for you to search for them and survive considering you're right on the surface where they can get you.
OK i have my other idea the Diplodocus I suppose 89 blocks long be right because its 89 ft in length it only spawns in like a woodland its a long-neck too.next is the Ankylosaurus (spawns in plains )the one with a club like tail if you don't know what these are look them up on Wikipedia.the Quetzalcoatlus the biggest of dino birds it has wing span of 36 blocks (36ft)spawns on large tree.
Great Idea! However, I beleive there should be a bit more:
Meteor, Occasionally appears in the Normal World, common in the Dino World. It obliderates everything it hits. Meteors can range in size from 1 block to 20x20.
There should also be a Reconstructor
Used to revive frozen mammoths and fossils.
More dinos are appreciated but not neccesary: Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Ankylosaurus, Pterodactyl, Deinonychus (Which fights velociraptors) and Parasaurolophus (Which is ride- able. It also does not spawn and is the outcome of a Reviver. If Para is not added, Revivers will randomly revive a dino.)
There are my imrovements.

Deinonychus and velociraptor are closely related...
Yes yes yes!
Love the idea of the time machine, if you could travel forward then the 'StarCraft' idea could be included with more realisim.
You should also include fossils that look different, like T-Rex fossil/Raptor fossil.. then we could build musems!
There should be different materials in the past/future (still working with the time machine concept here :tongue.gif: )eg. different plants that could be used as poison for weapons?
The only downside to all this is that notch probably wont include an idea so vast D:
But please please make a mod of this!! :3
Isn't it spacecraft? After all, a succesfull 2 (3 if you count expansions) games already exist called Starcraft(2)
I don't like the idea of the only getting back 1 fragment when fossil blocks are destroyed. lightstone and obsidian (and lava) screwups are expensive enougth already.
Fossils are fragile though in reality. Though, I think I'll change some things...

Oh man this is such an epic idea!
It makes mine look like a shrivelled shrimp in comparison :tongue.gif:
If this were an expansion pack I'd definitely buy it :biggrin.gif:
for you!
Thanks! XD

It would be awsome if this turned out to be a mod...
But may I suggest a few...
Don't worry about the names; you'll recognise them when you see them
EDIT: Don't say you'd buy it... Notch might get some ideas
May do this next. :wink.gif:

Sounds good since that would be a good use for Mammoth homes. Maybe CavePigmen?

Hmmm...you have a point there about the no jump thing. I'll edit that for all the creatures (Except the raptor who can already jump pretty high)

How did you find out about my meteor idea? Loljk.
Great idea! Though, I don't think I'll make it that catastrophic lol. (Maybe for the big ones...)
The Raptor in the OP is the size of a Utahraptor, so I might add smaller ones. Still iffy on that. And Para will spawn normally if I make it. Strange if it's the only one that doesn't spawn naturally.
killing a woolly mammoth seems cruel especially for me because elephants are my favorite animal. but im not saying take it off i like it the same way it is because i want a woolly block and a mammoth house, i think these are all great ideas.
I'd love to see this in a mod.
But may I suggest a few...
