Biome: Anywhere on hard
Spawning: Dark places on dirt. Strikers can't spawn in caves, but they can under trees, ledges, ect.
Looks(I'll I have is paint;tell me a free version of a software that is good at concept drawing and I'll have it in a heartbeat): It's partly transparent; Makes it harder for player to see. Looks like a creeper skeleton with a hood on.
What it does: If you walk close enough to it (It will not wander from it's spawn) it will jump out and charge out you, with it's speed being 4 times as fast as the player. When on slowsand (that stuff from the nether that makes you walk slow) it's speed is reduced to 1/4 of the players speed. It also only takes 2 hits from a steel sword to die, and if hit in the attack it will turn and run to it's spawn. It will only turn and run if hit with a steel or diamond sword or a shot from a bow and arrow. If it gets to the player, it will explode with an explosion half the size of a creepers. If killed, it will have a 20% chance of dropping nothing, 75% chance of dropping gunpowder (only 1) and a 5% chance of dropping the transparency cloak! The cloak will make the player 50% transparent (seen by mobs from half the distance of usual) but take up the ENTIRE armor slot so as not to make it unfair. Once dropped by the first striker to drop it, there will be a 23% chance of nothing and a 2% chance of another cloak (Even if you die)
Try using Blender. Its a free 3D modeling suite thats pretty easy to use (especially for moddeling minecraft suggestions). I've made several models (the link in my sig leads to all my suggestions, just click one for an example)
with it, and its been working fine for me so far.
