Sorry if this thread is off topic. I was wondering if there was a way to preview new or already existing worlds that use Biomes O Plenty world generation.
Me and my friend are searching for a specific terrain within our already existing world yet exploring the world physically is too slow so I was wondering if there is a way to speed it up.
As far as I know this would require a specially modified version of AMIDST that can handle modded biomes, or a dedicated biome mapping tool, as I developed for my own mod (sorry, I have no idea how I'd even begin making a tool to map Biomes O' Plenty, much less vanilla 1.16, and I don't do mod/tool requests). There is a version of AMIDST for Forge (this actually appears to be a Minecraft mod) for versions up to 1.14, but I don't know if world generation is still the same in 1.16 (the vanilla Overworld and End are still the same).
It's probably only slightly related to the OP request, but in BOP doesn't exist an item which can point you to the desired biome? Or has it been removed?

If you aren't part of the solution, then you obviously weren't properly dissolved.
FYI Amidst V4-6 does work with vanilla MC release 1.16.
The OP wants to view modded biomes though, and AMIDST does not work with mods, at least not Forge mods*; the "Forge AMIDST" that I linked to is a mod that makes AMIDST compatible with Forge, and given that it is actually a mod for Minecraft and not AMIDST it will only work for the Minecraft versions it was made for (up to 1.14; Biomes O' Plenty may or may not have the same world generation as in 1.16 but if so then they can use the 1.14 version to map seeds).
*AMDIST does work with non-Forge jar mods as long as there are no biome IDs that are not present in the latest vanilla version it supports (this map was made with my "random biomes" mod for 1.7), but as soon as you add unknown biomes it will glitch out or crash, hence why earlier releases of TMCW included a patch which only showed land, climate zones, and ocean, until I wrote my own biome mapping tool which can also properly display all of my modded biomes (otherwise, AMIDST would use the vanilla biome names and colors since even the biomes in TMCW that exist in 1.7+ do not have the same IDs).

That is true, yet we are looking for a biome but more importantly for a specific terrain for our next build.

It sounds like you may be better off using a tool like Minecraft Land Generator to pregenerate a world, then use a tool like Minutor to look for suitable terrain, since AMIDST only shows biomes (these tools do support modded versions, with MLG supporting virtually any version that has a server jar available; Minutor has definition files that can be edited to include modded biomes and blocks).

Minecraft 1.16.5 Forge

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
Thank you for information. We will try to figure something out
