Haha, I typed in "omgwtfbbqholycraproflmaoqqnoob" as the name and seed and ended up on a beach with snow, ice, grass, water and pumpkins around me.... weird.
try the seed *worstseedever* you will always(?) spawn next to triple dungeon, one is above ground, one is near by it deeper underground, one is near a shore of gravel and theres some above ground coal and iron and it has alot of caves. its great.
Nice :biggrin.gif: should clear up what seeds really are.

Enjoy
Im sorry but im LMFAO right now. I put in "Chuck Norris" as a seed just for S's & G's (shits and giggles for those who dont know that term), and Oh My God! an amazing locationg with a HUGE amazing Desert area with plenty of elevation as well as amazing mountain structures and the most beautiful waterfall/river i have seen from ANY seed.
I took these pictures a little way from my spawn, on a sand tower 32 blocks high from its original hight.

Hope you Enjoy the Seed. I know I am!
Just put in 'Chuck Norris'.I got the same kind of biome that you did, mine looking atleast like yours.I had the waterfall, desert, mountains, and everything you had.Except your texture pack,I have the original.
"qxqx" gives a nice world, multiple waterfalls, large mountains, lots of trees, exposed dungeons, etc.
Another good one is "fancypants" - lots of varied wildlife, waterfalls, exposed caves, etc.
"Au" (the symbol for gold) has tons of difficult to traverse mountains and even a large lavafall. Not sure if it actually has above average gold or not. :wink.gif:
"PALINDROME" spawned me right next to a lake of lava. Not far away was what looked like a potentially deep exposed cave (with mobs in it) and quickly accessible iron. Lot of snow/ice as well.

**I Just like to start by Saying that I'm currently using Steam-craft Mod when I was testing out the Seeds generator specifically..
**I wanted to try some recommended ones just to look at steam-crafts stuff in person...
**Glacier, straight off the bat... I saw what I thought to be the reason of recommendation... MANY... I'm talking atleast within sight, 3-4 completely disconnected Floating mountains/islands... I was like. Home found...
**To humor myself, I thought "well if this was Glacier, then what was heaven like?" I couldn't remember the number, and I had to go to work... so I threw in "Heaven" instead and the first thing I found was some pumpkins, visible from where I spawned.
**I know spawn is random, seed is world/map. I'm wondering if steamcraft will have an affect in this, so I'll edit later too.. but at -6 -115 on zan's minimap. I found the mouth of a cave, close to where I was spawned.. thought.. WELP.. This is where home will be and I'll head to work. Saved it right there..Edit-2
**Edit 1- I forgot to mention, Yes. It split into three ways before I found the major splitting. On the way down- Coal quite a packet of them. Iron visible on way down "heaven" in lowercase is the key term, the cave remained the same for Minecraft standard and Steamcraft mod (more ores/items to choose from)
**To the right, rather shallow branch. To the left, downwards, what I talked about up top. In the center, UPWARDS... visible from entrance. A single cobblestone block... meaning, DUNGEON... a small room with two chests in just in front of the entrance. and then it extends a little more past that. I started rather close on the opposite side of it this time.
**Edit-3. Explored a bit of a different path this time to try and get a bigger feel for the massiveness.. Which is far too small a word for this.. this thing is like the roots of a tree.. its everywhere...
**The Iron was not as massive as was on Steamcraft mod(I have two named minecraft(1)(2) to switch easy) However alot of similiaritys struck right off..
Lots of lava. Lots LOTS of coal... some good amounts of exposed iron, and easily reached redstone. The Dungeon-obviously a great plus if you know how to work them, plus, chests.
try "valley of the gods" you start fairly close to a lava pit and next to the largest mine i have ever seen.It may take a while to discover the holes, but you start about 20 steps away from one which i have spent hours exploring and still havn't discovered the whole thing.
also "jurassic park" when you spawn you will think everything is normal, until you goto start making tools, try and find yourself some wood.

In the heart of the snowy area there are some crazy mountains...
EDIT: ok i lied it isn't the "heart" its more like the edge, but it should be close to where you spawn, i spawned under one of them

Still highly recommendable.
