I wrote a program to find seeds with lots of slime chunks in a small area, just out of curiosity, and might be fun to test huge slime farms in creative. I was able to find 4x3 groups of chunks with 100% slime chunks, but have not found any 4x4 with 100%. Theoretically I guess they exist but I searched probably 150 trillion seeds and didn't find any 4x4s near spawn.
I had to port the slime chunk equation from Java to c++ to run this the way I did, and I think I got it right. I will give you this code if you want.
Any requests? I can generate massive lists of 3x3 or something. I would like to add biomes as well, but I would need the code for it in java and then port it to c++.
Here's some of the output from the program. The O's make a map of the slime chunks.
Note: Chunk numbers are given in the output below, not positions. Multiply by 16 to get the position. Please also confirm the location and seed with the slime finder app.

It's the large violet block in the middle of the image.
And the second image shows the world zoomed out some with the block of slime chunks in the middle of the view.

Very interesting. Your 4x3 seed is an extremely rare find. Thanks for sharing your results!
I'm currently making a passive (no flushing system) 2x2 slime chunk farm and with 5 floors currently done, I'm getting around 20 stacks of slimeballs per hour. By the time I get the farm fully built I probably won't need to visit it again.
Here's what "-8738573947631933579" looks like in 1.14.4.
That block of slime chunks is still in the same place, most of the biomes are the same.
More villages.

Sorry for necroposting, but can you please find me the closest 3x3 slime chunks to 7100 -8200 on the seed -6076949917341789626? Thanks!
What version of MC? 1.15, 1.16, or earlier?

I actually don't know because I'm playing on a nearly 7-year-old SMP server and I don't know when my area was first loaded. However it's fine as I'm starting to think a 1x1 chunk is actually the best (according to gnembon, almighty god of farms).
The version doesn't matter since as far as I can tell the algorithm has never changed; for example ChunkBase doesn't let you choose any particular game version because they say is the same for any version, and the Wiki gives the same algorithm as that used in 1.6.4. Nor does the age of the world (or generated area) matter because slime chunks are not saved with the world save, they are determined on-the-fly, much as biomes were before 1.2 (this means that if Mojang ever changes the algorithm it will affect all existing worlds unless they make an update like 1.2 or 1.6.4, which added the ability to save biomes and structure bounding boxes respectively so they remain the same through world generation changes)
That said, you'll need to search quite far to find any 3x3 slime chunks, which are only a one in 1 billion probability (for any 3x3 area); here is what the area around 7100, -8200 looks like (the large squares are 512x512 block regions, I didn't see any 3x3 slime chunks while panning around, only a couple 2x2s far to the northwest, the closer one is centered at 6704, -9888):
That said, there is a double slime chunk just to the east of your location, centered at 7112, -8192, a triple slime chunk a bit further east, centered at 7168, -8224, and an irregular patch of 7 adjacent slime chunks centered at 6808, -8344 (to the northwest of the red dot on the map above).
A set of 3x3 is pretty rare, so I think it's best to just pick the biggest clump that's closest. That set of five just to the north and east of zero, zero looks to be the best unless you want to travel a long distance.

As an example, this one has a 4x4 area with 13 slime chunks right near spawn.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
i'm sorry for asking but can you please find the nearest 3x3 slime chunk to spawn on my world

I play in 1.16.4
