I've found a nice Island Seed yesterday. You spawn on a forest island without any Animals. You can get food etc. from the Savanna not far away, i've build a bridge with about one and a half stacks Cobble. You got a little Dungeon under the Island which has only one chest in it. I don't no naything else about this world, i got to play further. I just wanted to share this Seed with you.
5901745603202655673 (by the way, i am using fastcraft which integrates parts of the 1.8 world generator, so maybe this is a 1.8-Seed. Don't know much about the effects of fastcraft)
I used PCMCv1.8.3 vanilla and spawned where AmidstExporter.jar predicted. On a forested island with at least one wolf.

Curse Premiumthen it seems like the world generation is not affected by fastcraft, and this is a true 1.7.10 seed. This is not the world i had.
